I was looking for some trusted independent advice as I was looking for an electric outboard (obviously) that would fit my needs as a live-aboard sailor.
I rang and spoke directly to Algie, having done a little internet research myself.
We talked through what I had, where I lived and what I wanted from the outboard and he then gave me a few options from which I could choose.
I opted for the Remigo One, which has turned out to be exactly as I had hoped for and indeed has exceeded my exceptions.
As a side note, I had some major issues getting this delivered to the UK from my home address in N Ireland to Sardinia.
Algie had delivered it for me to N Ireland, exactly where I had asked him to - so essentially he had fulfilled his obligations.
Let's just say the Remigo ended up on a flight it shouldn't have been on and got stuck in Milan. Algie stepped up to the plate, contacted the CEO of Remigo, who reached out to someone else and 72 hours later, I had my outboard on board!
Above and beyond the call of duty - customer service second to none.
Excellent company and personnel, I could not recommend them highly enough!!

After taking advice from Electric Outboards , I fitted a Mitek 4.5hp outboard with 2 lithium batteries into a Cornish Crabber 17.
The motor has now run for almost 4 hours on one battery and the whole system is working really well, with plenty of power to move a reasonably heavy boat along at around 5 knots.

Further to my emailed request for quotes for an electric outboard, rather than just send some deals, Algie went a step further and came back to me with a bunch of questions about what I wanted to do with it. Just like I used to do with my clients. When I told him, he made a better (IMO) suggestion, one that I hadn’t thought of, which was also less than half the price of the models we were looking at.

Honestly, I cannot recommend highly enough. Friendly, prompt and knowledgeable service. Their knowledge will save you money.

Really happy with all of the help given by Alg to make sure I got the right motor and battery for my tender.
The Protruar 2 and Traveller Pro 100 were far cheaper than my initial choice and I'm very happy to report are really easy to use and light to move around.
I really can't recommend Electric Outboard highly enough.
