I came in on Monday afternoon wearing a black hoodie and black jeans, and was helped by a brilliant member of staff at the front (sorry I didn’t catch your name!). He was incredibly attentive and took the time to clearly explain the process of replacing my bathroom lamp unit base. As a non-professional, I really appreciated the guidance—installation went smoothly, and I’m very happy with the result. I’ll definitely be back when it’s time to replace my kitchen lamp. Thank you!

I’ve been using Edwardes Bros. for a couple of years now, and they’ve consistently been one of the best suppliers in terms of product range and competitive pricing. However, my recent experience with their customer service has been disappointing, which is why I’m giving them a 3-star rating.

In my last order, they sent the wrong item, which caused significant inconvenience. I had to stop my work, go elsewhere to buy the correct item (at a higher price), and waste 90 minutes of my time resolving the issue. When I emailed customer service and explained the situation, Mark Browne acknowledged it as a human mistake but only offered a collection and refund. While I understand that mistakes happen, I felt there was no effort to compensate for the trouble I had to go through due to their error.

Overall, Edwardes Bros. remains a reliable supplier in many aspects, but their lack of accountability in resolving customer service issues has left me disappointed.

Ordered at 4pm Friday with standard delivery and arrived early Tuesday morning via DHL with regular delivery updates so I wasn't waiting around. The order was for 15 bulbs that I needed and were no longer available at screwfix. Unfortunately one bulb didn't work which wasn't there fault but gave them a call on Wednesday morning and the customer service was great. Polite, efficient and a replacment arrived next morning before 9am. Really pleased and will be happy to use again in future. We'll done Edwardes Bros.

Great service from Antony Birdseye at Edwardes Bros this week. We had a tricky order and they were let down by suppliers, but Antony kept us up to date throughout the week. He also arranged a direct delivery to site to speed things up for us. Really appreciated.

Excellent service and price. Ordered Aurora Endlite recessed spotlights. £10 cheaper each than Screwfix! Saved £100 in all. Fast delivery too, highly recommend.
