Nice place to look around, with lots of departments including tropical fish and tanks, pets, outdoor living, homewares, gifts etc.
If I have a gardening job on, This place always has any bits I need, and lots of choice. Very helpful staff who will happily give advice on plants, and the whole range of products offered.

Great nursery, well set out with lots of different areas/sections. Well stocked. Good accessibility for wheelchairs and double buggies. It has a very large disabled toilet with baby changing. The cafe is good with a nice selection of sandwiches/toasties etc. There is even a little toy/brio train table, enough for to keep a toddler entertained whilst food is being cooked.

There is fast charging electric car charging outside, with 6 bays.

Would definitely recommend

For some strange reason they have decided to do a total refit of their garden supplies and furniture section, right in the middle of summer. There is no garden furniture or BBQ supplies the whole area has been stripped...but the website hasn't been updated.

This resulted in a wasted journey...it actually looked like the place was shutting down it's so empty....no signs up to indicate what's going on or what is comming. The timing of this right in what must be the high season for garden centres leaves me suspicious. I hope the business survives whatever is going on.

I will revise this if/when the refit completes, as it has been a great local business in the past....but you wasted my time on the last visit, you really need to put a notice up on the website.

Lovely place to visit. Our 3yo grandson loved walking around seeing all the fish and reptiles and the Christmas areas. The tearoom was also a major hit for all of us.

This is a lovely nursery, currently undergoing a refurbishment. There is a good selection of healthy plants and staff are always willing to help and advise.
However, The Bluebell Tea Room is a disappointment. They are advertised as being open until 4pm, but at 3pm when I visited for a coffee, was told, with no apology, they were closed. I had to double check my watch and opening times incase I'd made a mistake, but I hadn't. This isn't the first time they have closed early. I passed by a short time later and noticed the staff having a meal!! It's such a shame as otherwise this is a great nursery to visit.
