t’s now 3 months since Climastar installed radiators. I am however bitterly regretting my decision. Great marketing but exceedingly poor product. Both the app and thermostats are unstable which is of great concern and raises safety issues. The app is unreliable, changing a programme seems to set off a period of instability but at other times it’s just random. The thermostats are subject to block when changing from auto to manual or vice versa which means you are then unable to control as you wish. So between the app or thermostats this is a very reliable system. In my opinion they are very expensive convection heaters where heat just rises, never “warms” the room and as soon as they go off heat dissipates quickly and room is cold. I do not feel safe using these radiators and am raising all my concerns with Climastar to resolve this situation.

Climastar installed a storage battery and hybrid inverter to be charged by overnight low cost electricity AND my existing solar array. They failed to detect that my array was incompatible with the new inverter which resulted in my losing nearly a year's worth of solar generation. They claim that I should have known (!) and have refused to compensate me for their incompetence. Imho they are amateurs in the solar field and should stick to heaters.

The harmony app that is used to control the heaters is not good. Constantly having trouble setting temperatures: once you set a desired temperature it can flick back to previous temperature. The only way round it that we’ve been told from customer service is to delete your whole schedule and start again. Also, process of confirming a schedule is very slow.

It could be a really great system, the heaters work fine but the app lets it down tremendously.

Clmastar rep told us they would be more economical than storage heaters.
We had them installed last spring so have waited till now to report.the rep knew we were all electric from the time our bungalow was built.
I have to report that we have made a huge expensive mistake as last month's heating cost was £280.00 this does not include standard daily rate.we have only been heating 2 of 5 rooms.
Cost to clmastar £3000+ will be going back to storage heaters which will save us approximately £100

Their technicals are idiots. They turned off my hot water, so I had to pay for a plumber to come out and sort it out. When I complained they said someone would call me back, which, of course they never did. They are also very expensive. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Fantastic Seller, Patrick. He explained me every single feature of the heaters. Delivery and installation was also quick. I have to admit it take some minutes to understand the programming. Comsumption under control. Everything is fine.

The heating consultant was very helpful. Explained everything clearly and took measurements to ensure correct sizing. This was advised to be installed within 6 weeks. This wss confirmed by the installations deparent.

Quite good customer service. It took a while to find the solution but they kept me updated almost every day. Nice ladies!
