The most patronising and degrading hiring process I’ve ever encountered!

Makes NO sense why they’d use such an outdated verbal/nonverbal in person exam which wastes everyone’s time - much bigger companies with triple the number of applicants use online tools like Arctic Shores which are just as secure and less degrading

There were people who were applying for managerial roles with 10+years of experience being spoken to as if they’re entitled kids - not even us graduates should be spoken to like that!

Like other comments, the ‘invigilator’ implied that we failed because we feel entitled to a job and should’ve treated the screening test as ‘an university examination’ - totally ridiculous to expect anyone to invest this much time and money for … a screening test?!

Really really would not recommend applying to a place that treats its applicants like a total nuisance

I went in thinking it's still worth a shot after reading all the reviews but it was complete waste of time. It's exactly like everyone else says where you get failed with no feedback. Makes you wonder what actually is going on there.

Drove an hour to Cambridge to do the aptitude test. Got told I failed but no indication of the pass mark, how close i was, or what I did wrong. Very unprofessional company. Don't apply

Attend a test today for a Mandarin-speaking Account Manager job only because it is close to where I live. Walked there and sat in a test with other 7 people and no one passed it in the end lol. Amused by the well-dressed old man giving a speech that TPP only wanna the best people in society, how disappointed he is that we didn't do enough preparation, don't put all eggs in one basket, and we will not be legitimate to apply for TPP within next two years. XD It's OK-level insulting, just like the normal discrimination we get from the Elite Class. It's probably the company culture to look down on people who are smaller than them. Just hard to believe it's a company that provides healthcare services, cos they clearly don't care about ordinary people. Anyway, the building was nice, the receptionist was nice, brand new facilities, and they provide you with papers and pens, free booking for a test, so I'd suggest you go and have some fun to kill time 🙂

Forced to traveI fora face to face interview (in the digital age!), despite being a mere 15 minute chat which included a logical reasoning test. Travel expenses were not compensated because they don't consider travel from Manchester long distance! Wasted my time only to be rejected without any feedback or constructive criticism. Don't waste your time on these lot

Disturbing behaviour from the leadership of this organisation. I will consider carefully if the leadership behaviour provides a positive contribution if encountered in the future. Currently, I am not familiar with their services/products.

I was interviewed at TPP by managing director Charlotte Knowles and some other pleb a few years ago. I became suspicious when they asked me what I thought of how the government handled COVID, who I voted for, and when they generally seemed to have a biased agenda on finding out my goals and interests.

I had given an aptitude test this morning for the business analyst role. It was of one hour duration, and they said I was unsuccessful with the test within 3 minutes of time. They refused to tell me my score or the passing eligibility scores. I wonder how they evaluated the test.
