There are small tips for each category and you have to go around in the car and park in front of the tips according to the item you have to recycle. You have to book the slot in advance online which was pretty easy to do. As someone who really cares about environment and recycling I really like the wide variety of categories that are available here compared to other recycling centers that we have used in the past. The site was exceptionally well organized and clean for a recycling center. Not smelly at all. All the categories are clearly labeled with large boards and were easy to find

Avoid this place like the plague, even with a slot. Had a big clear out and needed a van to take everything. Got a friend with a van to do it but they turned them away claiming it was 'trade', because it looked like that from the van. How else are we supposed to take lots of stuff? Helicopter, magic carpet? Had to pay for curb-side pickup in the end. It's a disgrace, they're practically asking people to fly tip. People want to recycle, sort this out and make it easier for people to do it and help the planet!

Arrived today 10.50, left at 11.45. Far too long waiting for what turned out to be only 12 car drop off slots. A tiny proportion of the whole path around the skips. With a bit of imagination, many others could be created without too much difficulty to speed up the process?

The tip itself is good but the policies and procedures around across are absolutely ridiculous. If you turn up more then 15 mins before your slot or make any mistakes on a booking form they will turn you away. This has led to multiple trips which is a net negative to the environment (which I thought was the whole point was to prevent)

Some jobs worth turned us back because we were. Bit early created more grief than was necessary obviously doing the same to everyone it's attitude like this that makes me want to fly tip and to be honest I care about the environment even less well done Gloucester council for your shit service.!!

Ridiculous rules have to book in never got any space when finally got space what is suits me got very busy and came on front day . On my begging please let me in I have booking for yesterday got told get on roundabout and leave because not allowed. Don’t tell me how to do my job no need to be rude.Really would it make much difference

Easy to get in and out. Good access to skips. Hardly any queueing since booking has become mandatory.

Awful, unclear booking system and rude staff. Kept waiting for ages to be checked in, hardly any other cars in the tip - just no common sense
