Good heavens! Goodness gracious! We three strapping young lads glided past this monolith of mastery stood to attention and saluted with virility. A day trip was made, we originate from the Brazilian Amazon, a previously uncontatced tribe. A single artifact from this incinerator washed up on the shores of our territory, and we knew it to be the calling of a higher power, the cure to the plague that was tearing through our village. Many lives of our fellow tribesmen were lost in the perilous journey, but it was not in vain. Highly recommend for all ages 8 to 80.

What a fantastic edifice, rising from the flat lands of Oxfordshire, it's sides lit up in a multitude of colours that help draw your eyes from the otherwise mundane bucolic countryside. The literal pinnacle being the chimney from which the remnants of the incineration exudate are emitted.
It does however boast a visitor centre for interested groups if you want to make a day of it.

Simply breathtaking, I’m gobsmacked. Taking the day off work was definitely worth it just to see this beauty. We traveled all the way from Manchester. Will come again. It’s would have been better if there was traffic jams so that we could have looked at it longer.

"Children look"!!! I shouted. There in the distance, ejecting from the emerald green sea around it, before my very eyes. Like a greek god riding a giant rainbow unicorn. While spitting punjent bin juice into the sky. What a site to behold just when I thought my motorway trip up the M40 couldn't get any better. My knees shaking, is that dew in my eye, no it's a tear, "Is that heaven mummy" Said my 3 year old Timmy his face a glow with utter bewildemrent at this majestic structure. "No son that's the Viridor Arley ERF and don't you blink timmy let every second sink into your memory, so when you grow up you can tell your children's children that day you saw that incinerator on the M40".

My heart skipped a beat, just like Olly Murs, when I saw this godly creation ejecting from the dull landscape. Burning rubbish has never been sexier.
M40 is my new favourite motorway because of this beauty. Worth any detour.

Had a rough weekend in Bristol and was looking for a pick me up on my way to London. Heard about the wonders of this incinerator and so decided to take a detour via Banbury to get on the M40. The detour took two hours but was worth it for 10 seconds. Now feeling super upbeat and ready for the week. Best Monday Ever. Thanks Viridor.

Who knew the 8th Wonder of the world resided just off the M40? Viridor Ardley ERF is sure to incinerate all the worries from your heart. Our lovely and polite tour guide Rebecca showed us round the museum and art gallery while our children visited the Llama petting zoo. I particularly enjoyed learning about the history of the plant. The founder - Mr Ardley - has an extensive history in philanthropy. He single handedly disposed of more than 700 bags of refuse during the disastrous 1975 Oxfordshire bin crisis. All facilitated by his amazing incinerator. Through all of this, Mr Ardley suffered from testicular meningitis by proxy and it is incredibly inspiring to see one with his condition succeed where so many others have failed. Could not recommend a visit more.
