I have just read these reviews for the first time OMG I'm not alone! We have a wheelchair lift so that my husband can get out the back door of our house. It has not worked for 6 months. During that time an engineer has been out 3 times (without managing to fix it) RJ Lifts insisted, during my many emails with various members of staff, that we had to pay for those visits. In those 6 months I've paid them £1500 for NO repair! Now I have a quote to repair it for £840, which i have accepted and now they are demanding that payment, despite me still waiting on the repair. I have tried on many occasions to resolve this and am now about to take legal action. Absolutely Disgusted.

If I could, I wouldn’t even give this company a 1 star review as they don’t even deserve a star, customer service is absolutely appalling you get sent round in circles and when you asked to speak to a manager as they never seem to be on site whether it’s 9 am or at 2 pm. I’ve been advised by multiple members of staff to the next following day and I would be able to speak to management however management are never available. They have had multiple operatives come on site day after day informing us that they can’t install new buttons that have gone missing due to them being programmed, yet they are lift specialist. They constantly inform me that a Lyft engineer will be here the next following day however it’s never the case

This has to be the worst lift maintenance company ever. If you are a Housing Association, think carefully before contracting this company. They will leave your properties with no lift access at all and will destroy trust between you are your tenants.

It is even better when you are trapped in the lift and using the intercom to call for help. Breaking voice from the intercom, unhelpful operator, along with the proud beeping alarm buzzer, making the lift a bloody concert in the hell. Minus one star

I live in a building which the lift is serviced by rj lifts. They are the most unreliable service and company. Lift works for 1 hour before breaking down again. Some times not even coming out when a job has been recorded. Elderly people are isolated, delivery people refuse to take the stairs even when the packages are medication. Local MP has been written to complain, but the company still unable to fix a lift which is supposed to be what they specialise in.

Avoid RJ Lifts at All Costs – Incompetent and Unresponsive

If I could give RJ Lifts zero stars, I would. The lift in our building, BREE COURT, has been partially out of order for over two months due to a simple button malfunction, and despite repeated complaints, there was absolutely no sign of maintenance or urgency. Now, the entire lift is out of service, and their excuse? They’re “waiting for parts” – for months!

We’ve contacted them multiple times, but their responses have been dismissive and completely unhelpful. This level of incompetence and disregard for residents is beyond unacceptable. If you’re looking for a reliable lift maintenance company, stay far away from RJ Lifts unless you enjoy broken elevators and endless excuses.

These guys are absolutely useless!

The residents in our building have been left without a lift for 60 days and counting.

An 18 floor block of flats and the lift outage prolonged by the sheer incompetence of this lot ordering the wrong part.

You couldn’t make it up!

Parked in a taxi rank in Inverness, refused to move and extremely abusive when asked to move! Looking at other reviews on this company, not the only driver they have that's an absolute clown!
