Unfortunately, my experience with the management team was disappointing. The team appears to be made up primarily of relatives, which has led to a lack of professionalism and clear boundaries in decision-making. Communication was a consistent challenge — an overall lack of transparency and responsiveness. This made it very difficult to resolve even simple issues or get clear direction.

There also seemed to be little understanding or regard for standard business practices, which created a frustrating and often chaotic work environment. While I respect cultural diversity, leadership positions require strong communication skills and the ability to manage operations effectively — both of which were noticeably lacking here. I hope the company takes steps to invest in qualified, experienced leadership in the future.

Worked here for six months with a recruitment agency. Staff are friendly enough people, but I received no formal training whatsoever and learned everything purely through observing others or through instructions given to me in broken English by fellow employees because my managers were too busy to do it themselves. On numerous occasions, instructions given to me directly contradicted instructions that I had already been given by different managers, oftentimes leading to massive mix ups. For men at least, the locker room was in the same room as the toilets with absolutely no wall or door separating the two, so have fun catching a whiff of dropped guts while you go to fetch your microwaveable tikka masala on your lunch break.

The nature of the work itself isn't exactly exciting, but it's not supposed to be. You'll find yourself doing numerous different roles depending on where they need you, ranging from repackaging stock to unloading trucks to standing at a malfunctioning sticker machine for eight hours a day. To the disdain of one of the floor managers I was moved away from a role I was good at and enjoyed doing because the contractors refused to shell out extra to the company to have an agency worker in their ranks and I was never given a contract.

Eventually I was let go, and they didn't even have the decency to tell me I'd been let go; they merely told the Agency to tell me there "isn't enough work right now" although my observations when I went back to collect my boots and hi-vis from my locker proved this claim to be entirely false. They've let agency staff go in this manner before, I've witnessed it personally, and I spent three weeks waiting for a call back before I realised what they'd done.

If you're Agency wondering whether you should work for this place, do it. The money they were paying an hour shouldn't be scoffed at, especially if you're struggling for work. Just don't get too complacent, they can happily drop you in a heartbeat and not even bother to tell you they have.

If you like standing at a machine for 8 hours a day while on your feet all day then sure go ahead. Got rid of me for being off 2 days in a row during coronavirus. Avoid at all costs

Security needs to learn the laws about public photography before threating a member of the public.

Mouthy security, threatening a lad whilst I was sitting waiting at the barrier to get in, I only wanted to deliver the mail!
