Requested they quote for a shower pump to deal with poor water pressure at my grandmothers house in Watchet.

Richard pointed out the cylinder was small and it would empty it too quickly. So instead, they installed a new unvented water cylinder. Worked hard to do it quickly so she wasn't without heating/hot water for too long in winter - even though they encountered some unexpected problems doing the job.

Nice people to deal with, which meant I was very comfortable with instructing them to do the work, even though my grandmother is quite elderley, and I live 3 hours away and wouldn't be present. Richard kept me updated by phone, and sent a photo once it was done.

Bren, in the office, is also very nice and deserves a mention too! She always responds super fast. Price was very fair. Would certainly recommend!

Our outdoor oil fired combination boiler died in the middle of a cold February and Hodges were the only heating engineers who would install a replacement boiler for us. I can only say how grateful I am to them for the work they carried out for us, removing the old boiler, making a solid plinth for the new one and installing the new one. At all times Richard and Nigel were friendly and professional doing a great job. I was so pleased that I found these chaps and I will continue using them for all servicing work.

Very happy with the work carried out to replace our heating system. Richard was very knowledgable and took the time to explain everything he was doing. Our installation wasn’t the most straightforward of jobs as it involved moving the boiler from inside the house to out in the garage, moving the oil feed and installing a new flue but it was all carried out by Richard and his team with good humour, quickly, efficiently and tidily. The costs of the works was very reasonable. Would have no hesitation in recommending Hodges plumbing and heating.

Richard recently replaced our old boiler with a new Ideal Logic Gas boiler along with upgrading the associated control system ,

We had been using a Taunton based company for plumbing and heating work for a number of years who announced they were no longer covering LPG boilers in West Somerset due to a lack of demand.

Fantastic service all round Richard serviced my gas boiler and sorted out the air in the expansion vessel. Richard talked me through the whole process.
