We have a south west facing kitchen with 6 bifold doors and a skylight. Recent summers have made the room uninhabitable so we started looking into solar reflective window film as a means of reducing heat build up and glare. Paul at UK Solar really helped us by providing clear information and advice on what type and grade of film to have. Paul & his colleague Jay fitted the film on the agreed day and left us clean and tidy. One week later, on the hottest day of the year so far, our kitchen is a good 6 degrees cooler than it was at the same time of day during the last heatwave, a few weeks ago. Uk solar fitted a solar protecting film to the inside of our conservatory roof and it has transformed the room. Previously it became unbearably hot in there with our very warm summer but now it is significantly cooler and there is much less glare. We can finally use the conservatory again!
It was fitted within a day and done to a very high standard and the room was left perfectly clean.

Great service provided by Jay and UK Solar. I recently had windows filmed to reduce heat and UV damage. Jay took the time to go through all the options available and explain the pros and cons of each different type of film. The film has made a massive difference to temperature and glare inside the house. Would highly recommend.
