Waited an hour but Brad with Able Assist turned up early vs tracking time. He was absolutely brilliant taking car of my car which needed a full recovery due to the coolant thermostat housing blowing out. If you have an issue, someone like Brad is who you need taking care of you. Will use again.

Absolutely pathetic excuse of a car recovery service company. Left my partner and her 6 year old son stranded for 3 and half hours all alone in a dark area. My personal experience after an accident in 2014 when my car was written off they just never bothered turning up and I had to pay a private company to collect my car. These guys are obviously far to busy with other customers so will help them out by switching to the RAC.

What an awful company, avoid the aggravation and insure elsewhere.
Automatic renewals go ahead even when you cancel them. Already saved 50% by NOT renewing with de AA so cancelled renewal, but hey, they took the money anyway.
Then had to call to get refund and will be charged for this and the call

The only automotive company that claims to rescue you, ensure you're back on the road after a breakdown..That always fails too.

The AA basically take your money..
For no service. Disgusting. Try Green flag instead

Trying today to get through..
About rectifying the faults which are now occuring because of the messing around with me engine management sensor..
No joy...
Whatsoever..!!!
I think they've caught wind.
That I've complained too the official ombudsman..
And that is why their not picking up the phone.
Bury your head in the sand mentality.
And I'm here telling everybody what a shoddy service
Just been told ,that the gent who ripped me off first time has retired .
So, does that mean I get a refund because if that.
Your service has approved because he's retired .
No....
Is the simple truth..
You've farmed out responsibility ,and the trust has long gone...
Everytime I call you out I get a bad time, nothing is rectified.( Except he clipped the breather pipe back into position,2 mins work)
And on this occasion,I dint know what's going too happen next..
My lights shorted out the radio..it's frightening if I driving at night and open a window will it short my lights
I don't know .
And they say I should pay out of my own pocket !!!

And again.
As Dan,whoses in his eighties,
Seen everything,said.
The A A .
Is "fur coats,no knickers".
People off a certain age.
And still believe in paying for a quality service..
Will understand..!
Really bad service .
Last boxing day, amber engine light came in.
In built up traffic,in weymouth.m
Managed too get it back home ,rang the fourth emergency service.
The Automobile Association.
Problem solved.
Half an hour later, man turns up,turns off, sensor in dashboard, and for good customer satisfaction, squirts WD40,on my squeaky pulley..
And was off..
Twenty minutes .,and a £127, taken out if my bank account within seconds.
The light he turned out ,was a warning light not too travel any distance and should have been left on .I still had too go a few days later to a garage with a diagnostic machine and fork out another £147.
And the pulley, once the WD 40,,evaporated,squeak again
Was I impressed No
Is the honest truth
Friday last 22nd of December .
.engine warning light came on..I was lucky,5 miles from flat...
They came out, rectified fault, breather pipe had dislodged from top of engine.........
And then he spent ,2 hours trying too turn the warning light off, because his laptop was old and didn't communicate with my EMS .
Not only was I bloody frozen too death, because big the long wait...
And no where to go too toilet .
I know find, the radio doesn't work because he shorted it out ...
I rang this morning and ,Neil from services said I had to go too a ford garage and pay for it myself ...
Even though their highly trained mechanic ,done it ..
I just as well went too monkey world ,and let one of the chimps look at it......!!!!
I must have paid well over £500 ,in the last two years and for what..
A squirt of WD40..
Feel totally truthfully ripped off.
The mechanic,said there's a fault code..
Come up..
E 711...
Your mechanic must have wiped the EMS,clean.
And not installed the code for my cd,player.
As it is ,he said I'll have too source a complete unit from eBay..
Costing me more outlay.
Is this good business practice, screwing the little guy
Who happens to be Me..
Who happens to blog review business!!!
500,000 viewings in the last three months..
I don't really care about the money
It's the service you should have provided and in no way did I get anything..
Fourth emergency service..
Should be bodgit and scarper..!

My memebership of the AA had been in place for years but, following a totally unacceptable experience last week, I have now cancelled it.
The AA has some absolutely absurb memebership conditions in place. For example, they will not attend one's home, under their Home Start service, should the vehicle not have a current road fund licence (road tax) even if the vehicle is NOT on the public highway at the time even if parked on one's private driveway!?!
In the converation with the AA helpline, it was obvious that the nature of the the call would have made excellent script for an episode of Monty Python or Fawlty Towers! I could hardly believe my ears when the AA staffer proceeded to talk about other membership options. Clearly he had no sense of urgency concerning my breakdown call.
When the AA mechanic was eventually dispatched, a day late, he was most polite and helpful and was able to start the car within minutes. However, his talents are clearly wasted working for an organisation such as the AA. He should resign and go to work for the RAC.
I note that the overall Google reviews rating for the AA is only 2.5. I would suggest that it is on the verge of bankruptcy, although I have no proof of that whatsover.
So I recommend that you terminate your memebership forthwith and join the RAC, or other such breakdown organisation, before you lose your memebership fee.
AA RIP!

Worse recovery company! Called today for help! The guy showed up and on the phone. While I was explaining the problem with my car he was still on the phone with a friend! At some point his friend decided to hung up. Then when I asked for recovery truck in order to recover the car to BMW dealer he told me that is not his problem. He was there only to jump start the car! Then he asked me to drive the car. He said the car was drivable even if the digital cluster is dead! Snow is everywhere the guy just left me there saying the car is drivable where the digital cluster had packed up, was completely dead! Even after all the explanation he said I should pay for recovery truck if I want the car into a bmw dealer! £300
Then he left! I have a lloyds bank platinium account which states that we have AA subscription and can use to recover a broken down car! The guy was very rude and unprofessional. I could see his attitude from the moment he arrived!
I will file a complaint with the bank as well!
The guy was rude and a bit rasist and he just left us there in the cold!

Go up
