Place is well kept and tidy and staff are friendly and super helpful. Can't fault it and everyone moaning about booking slots it's actually really easy to do even on the day. Wish more people would use this site instead of dumping their crap everywhere around our nice wee town

You need an appointment to dump your rubbish now. Done online, but I had to make ip an address as despite it being my closest centre, it's not actually run by Glasgow City Council but South Lanarkshire. Was turned away by staff but told to make appointment by parking outside and coming back. Which I did, and was waved through 5mins later lol
Staff friend and helpful though, even shouting to let me know I had 'plenty room' todrive around a van blocking the exit...

Much better than the old system where some staff were very rude, they gave the impression they were doing you a favour letting you drop off rubbish. However I'm happy that the new system provides friendly staff with good manners.

Still have to wait on main road after booking a slot as gates are closed

Now there’s a booking system in place. Arrived at 8:30am to dump an old toaster. Two cars already in the establishment. Was refused use of the facility because I had no booking. Guess what- toaster is going in the bin. Who thought this system up and, more to the point, who told the staff to stick rigidly to it and not apply a common sense approach. Well done SLC

Really disappointed. Arrived a bit early with a couple of bags of garden waste and was turned away.
Couldn't even wait, despite loads of space.

Arrived at 4pm on 19/11/2024 booked my slot online. On arrival the staff member approached my car male, 50s, glasses attitude was disgusting and looked for my registration on his device. Attempted to tell me that I had not booked and had to leave. I took my phone out and showed him my booking email. He told me to “MOVE” and go across the road to rebook!!! I had the booking on my phone, told me I was holding the Que up. Got to the lights to go across the road to re book and his colleague found my booking so started shouting on me and asked me to reverse back. He was extremely rude, unhelpful & caused an issue for no reason! Standing smoking his vape whist approaching cars. BAD SERVICE & very very rude.
