This thermostat is a piece of junk. Nobody knows how to program it. Way too complicated for something that should be simple and straightforward. Company is useless and they offer no support whatsoever. Don't buy this, don't install this. Absolutely useless.

We encountered a problem with one of the Danfoss HIU units and, as professional heating engineers, we reached out to Danfoss for technical support. Unfortunately, we were told they couldn’t assist us directly and advised us to contact SAV Systems, who handle the UK market.

When we contacted SAV Systems, the experience was disappointing. They provided misleading information and appeared more focused on steering us towards booking one of their engineers for nearly £400 just to inspect the HIU, rather than offering clear and accurate guidance to resolve the issue.

As professionals in the field, we rely on manufacturers and their partners to provide reliable technical support. This experience has been frustrating and has made it unnecessarily difficult to address the problem efficiently.

We hope both Danfoss and SAV Systems improve their support processes to better assist engineers in the future
