Contacted this company a year ago about a boiler installation. Originally fitted the wrong boiler for the heating system in my house. After many conversations and months of insistonf that they rectify the problem they finally installed the correct boiler. Now I have an issue on my heating system which is not the companies fault however yet again having to continually contact this company. The boiler has a 10 year cover plan on it. Phone calls not returned even from management . Very poor customer service , give conflicting information and generally incredibly unhelpful. Would not employ this company again.

Solar King installed a complete new boiler system at a house i had completed gutted and refurbed. Once the rooms had been plastered and decorated, i arranged for their staff to come in to fit the boiler, radiators, etc.
I was left for weeks with a gaping hole in an external wall from whether the old boiler had been removed. Bare in mind i live on a corner plot and the hole was visible. Newly plastered walls were damaged where radiators had been carried up the stairs and chipped the walls. Two radiators were not installed properly and leaked, one onto a brand new carpet that had only been down for 7 days. Also the engineer who installed on in the bedroom, failed to put a heat mat down and i have ended up with a burnt carpet and solder on a carpet which was 2 weeks old.
My Husband and I have contacted Solar King several times over the last 2 years via telephone and email and even supplied 3 quotations for the replacement of my bedroom carpet but no one has ever contacted us to discuss or arrange anything further. We feel that although there was other damage done, which we have sorted ourselves, we feel that to ask for a replacement bedroom carpet was asking too much. We dont even want the money! Just a voucher to replace the actual carpet that they ruined.
No customer service........

Absolutely ridiculous policy, huge waste of time. For some bizarre reason this company will refuse to visit your property to survey it unless both partners/homeowners are present. This will never happen for myself and my partner as we work split shifts, so unless they wanted to survey at midnight they would simply never get us together at home. This only came to light after numerous phone calls, after which they informed me they wouldn't visit unless we were BOTH there. Big waste of my time, I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere.

This is review about my solar panels installation. Very very disappointing experience. Installation Took 4 weeks where normally should take half a day.No communication between their department. I rang them several times and person who answered the phone had no clue what I'm talking about. The electrician drilled a hole in my wall ( didn't measure properly).Now week after the installation finally had been completed I'm still waiting for feed in tariff forms. Hopefully will get them before the end of the year.

Boiler installed using wrong sized pipework. As a result a brand new Vaillant boiler had the main part fail after only 9 months. I've had 2 warning notices one from Vaillant and one from Transco saying the boiler is not safe yet it's taken Solar king over a month to sort it and I've had to keep chasing them!!!

I have only took the time to sign up to google to let other people know how bad a service we received from solar king uk, we had a boiler which did not work and me my wife and out 2 infant children were left with no heating or hot water for over 3 weeks over the christmas and new year holidays, the never even once said sorry, the customer service is the worst i have ever come across as they just dont care, the fitters never arrive on time its normally a good few hours late if they bother to arrive at all,
i advise you to use anyone else to do your job i can assure you you will wish you had when they treat you they way they treated us.

AVOID! Keep harassing me. Awful impression of the company without even using them, calling every day, old school methods says a lot about the business. Wouldn't use even if I wanted solar panels which I don't!!
