Bought a pre owned Guitar from here.

Guitar was as advertised and the instore knowledge from the two guys were second to none.

Had a real good chat with them both, very friendly and no pressure selling.
I traded a Guitar in to buy the Faith accoustic and got a really good deal.
I would certainly return to the shop and also recommend them to others.

Fantastic range of guitars for such a small place. Competitively priced too - we bought one last year that was MORE expensive online! Today we were just in browsing the 12-strings. There is a cafe/bar at the other side of the shop.

Bought a lovely satin finish fender 3/4 here the other day. The staff were so helpful and friendly, I haven’t had a guitar for 20 years and they helped me pick one I am so happy with. They also had the strap, tuner and wall hanger needed at great prices. Very happy customer

Needed a hard case for a full size electric bass at very last minute, rang these guys and said they had one and it was very reasonable price especially given the quality. I turned up about an hour later and he had it ready for me. Great customer service, very clean shop and set out brilliantly. Will definitely use them again!

This is my favourite shop to head to when I get home (every 3 months...) To start with their pies are absolutely delicious but to be able to wander around the guitar shop well I never get tired of brousing their fantastic guitars. Unfortunately the wife has banned any more guitars in the house but before then I bought an Epiphone EJ200 (can't afford the Gibson sadly 🙁) a couple of years ago and was over the moon with the deal they did on a stand and tuner and case. If ever you get chance to visit I can't recommend Steve James Guitar and Amp shop enough. A 'smallish' venue but genuinely massive, massive friendly staff.
