We had the pleasure of working with Tom on our dormer loft conversion and kitchen remodel, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! This was our first time taking on a project of this scale, and Tom was fantastic at guiding us through every stage. He was always patient, communicative, and receptive to our feedback, ensuring the final design truly reflected our vision. Tom was a pleasure to work with on our loft and side return extension plans. His designs were thoughtful, implementing our ideas and also making helpful suggestions. He always communicates clearly and gave us great advice on surveyors and building compliance people, as well as recommendations for builders (one of whom came out top). Tom also successfully steered the whole planning application making it totally painless for us. He was happy to work on a few iterations of the design. I also found his fees reasonable. I would use Tom again for any future project!

Tom was absolutely brilliant. He took on my application part way through the process and showed the difference between a great architect and sub standard one. His attention to detail and communication was on point and made a bad situation into an acceptable result. I do feel like I would have had more complete and agreeable plans if I had used Tom from the very start and that would be my only regret. I have no hesitation with recommending Tom and would happily use him again, in my humble opinion value for money !

We worked with Tom to help us design an outdoor home gym. We loved Toms approach and had a clear understanding of how he would support us with the project and the steps involved.
Tom fully understood our brief, talked through various options to help us make an informed decision of the best way to build the structure and even completed our permitted development application.

Well it’s been a while since Tom and I started to work together on my kitchen / diner conversion. When Tom initially came out to view the project, he was very professional and personable in his approach. We discussed what was feasible with the budget i had available and building constraints.
Tom produced a set drawings that were easy to understand and that allowed even my wife to visualise what the end product would look like! We were also able to use the drawing as reference for the different trades that carried out work.
Our project did run into a number of unforeseen problems from day one, but to Toms credit, he was always on hand to offer help, guidance and advice where necessary as well as recommendations to different suppliers, tradesmen and a structural engineer.
The project is nearing completion and has now been signed off without a hitch by building regs. Tom recently paid another visit, just to check everything was ok, and we’ve already had preliminary discussions for another set of drawings for Phase 2 - Side and front extension.
In summary, we’re absolutely thrilled with the work that Tom has done for us as we strive to build our dream home. Thank you.
