Rude, unprofessional, terrible job. Our house looks a complete mess and rubbish was left everywhere. The job was completed with scrap bits of wood found in our basement that were drilled to the wall. The electrician was completely disrespectful in personal manner and quality of work. Couldn’t recommend less to anyone.

Was allocated KTEC after booking an EICR through the MyConstructor website. My appointment was at 7pm. At 2.30pm they called my tenant and said 7pm no longer works and they would be there in 30 mins. As she was not in, they offered to do the EICR over facetime?!?! They said a "visual inspection over facetime would be fine as it would likely require further work to be made compliant anyway" - code for "We will fail you and then bill you for loads of work to make it compliant". Obviously I refused this service and complained to MyConstructor.
Since then KTEC have accused me of lying (shows a facetime EICR is dodgy) and refused to give me a refund even though they didn't provide the service. Rogue trader - avoid!

The standard of work and customer service that I received was terrible. The technician who came to the address came unprepared with the equipment that he would need. This is despite a colleague coming a couple of days before to check what was required. The technician then went off for over an hour to collect some bulbs. When he came back he completed the work to a poor standard. The fittings are not flush to the surface, he has left black finger marks all around the flat and on the ceiling, one light fitting has left a small hole in my ceiling and he left the property in a terrible state and made no attempt to tidy. This lead to to poor customer service with the owner refusing to take responsibility for the above. He refused to pay for the hole in the ceiling to be repaired at first and then said he would fix it but I’ve heard nothing from him in a month. I would advise against using this business.

This man is unbelievable. He blackmailed us into paying him on an over priced job. We use a lot of contractors in our business and have very good relationships with all but never come across a nut case like this!

K-TECH - you literally have no business acumen and suggest you recruit someone who knows how to talk to people.

A technician came to our house to apply to install apply to a new fire alarm system. The results are beyond terrible. The technician applied the wrong Color cabling on the middle of the wall, meaning it's extremely obvious. Absolutely no effort to make the cabling hidden. Left a mess and was rude over the phone. I wish I could give less stars. He was all fine when he came and said that the recently fitted fuse box needed upgrading. So he upgraded it and done my EICR. The sockets throughout the house is not working and the light in the main bedroom has this weird thing where it is constantly on. He blamed it on an appliance, no new appliances has been fitted in this vacant house, or on a socket - that no power is going to? Then with the other sockets and lights he did not even check. I raised these issues shortly after he fitted in in December I had to wait 3 weeks for him to be available - of which my property manager has rented it. He was not helpful, didn't check the problems and now I have rented the house out with no electrics. I waited 3 weeks for him to come and fix it and he went home and left them with the faults. NEVER NEVER NEVER use this bloody cowboy! He took my money and when there was issues did not want to know and found every excuse not to help! Well that's £1800 I'm not getting back.. I guess he saw me coming.

Great experience with Kypros today. He installed some new light fittings and disconnected some others. Very responsive, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Did the work I needed efficiently and for a good price. Also very diligent with Covid-related safety.
