Just ordered our new kitchen from Howdens, staff were fantastic, so helpful nothing to much trouble, price was better than W----, and quality of service supier, would totally recommend them and a big thank you to Jacob for making that extra bit of help which clinched the deal.

Called in on 21 October 2024 about an Integrated washing machine that broke down 2 months after being installed brand new. Since it was installed by an insurance company, we didn't had Invoice number which Howdens requested it however the address, make and pictures should have been enough. By the time we found Invoice number and was actually able to get further it was 4th of November. They organised someone to have a look and get a part in. Then they got an engineer booked in on the 25th November, however I got a message saying that the part they ordered was damaged. Next engineer was booked in to come on the 3rd December where he came in and said that the part they ordered was the wrong part ! ! Eventually on the 3rd of JANUARY 2025 the engineer said that they have changed all the parts possible and the washing machine itself needs replacing! However they sent another one to check the checked information? I got my washing machine delivered on the 21st JANUARY 2025 and had to wait till 24th January for someone to install the washing machine as it is integrated. The old washing machine was left in the middle of my small studio apartment. I called Howdens on 24th January to see when they will collect it and they said we will find out and call back to which they never did. I called them just today to ask about it again and they could only send someone on the 7th of February!! So I had NO WASHING available from 21st October 2024 - 24th January 2025 which is almost a 100 DAYS (3 Months) and 109 days to complete the job! How on earth do you people run your business is unacceptable!!! Very disappointed and disgusted of how long this takes for Howdens to fix their faulty washing machine fixed/swapped. Giving 2 stars not 1 because the last person I spoke was nice and did actually organise the collection unlike the previous one who never called back.

Very disappointed whilst I am not a trade customer, I am renovating a property myself having worked in the building trade for 45 plus years. I was told to find a trade customer with an account. Whilst I do use the appropriate traders personal when required they do not buy items that I am using and installing myself. It was not a good experience. I will be spending lots of money on kitchen & bathroom furniture along with timber, plasterboard, doors and flooring.

The store made promises of quick delivery in fact this was not the case 3 weeks for fitters to install quartz .

Store had poor communication with fitters as they knew I didn't even have the base units but still sent quartz fitters out when wasnt ready

Then blamed me to my client witch is slander costing further work and money

Telling my client I cant read a tape measure I've been using one for 20 years
