Bought my Razer Blade in for a clean, repaste, and installation of new SSD/ram.
Matt was very helpful throughout the process, answering any questions I had. Dropped off Wednesday morning, sorted by 14:00, and it has made a great improvement to my laptops running temperatures.

100% Recommend, after I messed around with my PC settings I ended up with a black/blank screen, meaning I couldn't see what was happening, after trying & trying to fix it myself by following online videos, Dell & Microsoft fixes, downloads etc the problem remained the same.
I took it to York IT Services, as I need the PC for work & home use, told them the issue & what I had done to cause it........A bit of IT wizardry and they had fixed the issue, saving me from having to buy a new PC.

Laptop wouldn't turn on and after a day or two of trying different things I took it to York IT Services. They fixed it in 5 mins and didn't charge me - absolute legends! Really knowledgable guys and very nice with it, would absolutely recommend.

I kindly request all customers to be vigilant when buying products from this repair shop. Once a product is purchased from them, there is no refund or return policy. Additionally, the products are sold at a much higher price compared to other repair shops. Therefore, I do not recommend buying IT products from this shop, as they do not offer a return or refund policy if the product is not compatible with your computer. They will not accept the return once the product is opened. I have not seen a shop like this in York. Please, all customers, avoid buying any products from this repair shop.

Just bought a new laptop from them. Less than 10% more expensive than from an online warehouse and well worth paying the extra for the advice offered (and for supporting an independent). Paid for in home installation, again, a good investment as I get another 45 days to contact them for help, should I need it. Appointment was booked for 10am and the chap was very punctual and pleasant.
Now squaring up to the new machine and hoping that I'll be able to operate it effectively!!

Summary: extremely helpful, knowledgeable and understanding when it comes to assisting customers who don't have a clue about IT and need a little guidance and a substantial repair!

I cannot recommend York IT Services highly enough. After a liquid spillage I took my laptop to a very helpful chap named Matt, who diagnosed the problem within 12 hours (actually a dying hard drive rather than a liquid issue). I was offered a repair of the old machine, to buy a new one direct from them, or to source a new one myself. It was a rather difficult and stressful time being without my laptop but the team at York IT services were always very willing to answer my (sometimes rather stupid) questions! Having opted to buy the new machine directly from them, at a very competitive price, there was a very rapid turnaround in transferring my files over before things were ready. For a chap who doesn't know much about computers and relies heavily upon one to work, it was a very stressful time but I was very well informed and guided by Matt.
