Tyres were not onsite at pre booked appointment time, car was onsite for over two hours, unacceptable. Was not informed of this when dropping car of so didn't have the opportunity to cancel

Your mechanic wasn't able to jack my van up as he wasn't allowed to drive onto something to increase the height.

I was told to phone the Falkirk branch as they were a "van centre" phoned falkirk who didnt have the tyres I ordered in stock and tried to sell me ones that were an extra £110 on top of the £290 i had already paid for them to be fitted.

I had to go to my friends house for him to jack the van up and take one wheel back to kwik fit to fit a tyre, back to friends house, new tyre in, back to kwik fit to get the other done.

I was then told that i couldn't get my tracking done as they were too busy on other jobs.

First time ever using Kwik Fit as i wanted tyres and tracking done at the same time.

Definitely not a great experience and no offer of anything to help the situation.

They were happy for me to leave with tyres close to the limit as their policy didnt allow them to drive the van onto blocks to increase the height.

Not personally the tyre fitters fault, just the rules that come from head office...

Definitely wouldnt recommend

Don’t usually do reviews but the guys were really good when I had to get my new car fixed after buying from a dealer, really helpful from start to finish and did the work at the time I booked in for which I’m not used to with other businesses! Didn’t take long at all and a massive weight off my shoulders now everything’s sorted. Really happy and thanks again, will come back to you in the future 🙂

One of your very handsome mechanics at kwik fit Cumbernauld saved me tonight after being sold a dodgy tyre from a different garage. When I arrived at the garage he was really approachable and chatted away. I sadly didn’t catch his name however he took time to show and explain to me exactly what was wrong with the tyre I had been sold prior and replaced my car with two good tyres. Himself and his colleague who sorted me out with tyre insurance were both so friendly and helpful and I was really grateful for the service I was provided with. Car is driving perfect now, I’ll definitely be back with any future car issues!

Called in after realising I had lost a wheel nut. Extremely helpful member of the team took a look at my car & said he might have one spare from his own car which was the same make. Fitted it & checked all of the others for correct tension & wouldn't take any payment.
