Needed some work done that couldn't be completed until other work was done, and ERG hung with me while I was bounced around through that without a word of complaint, even though I know their scheduling got messed about as well. When they did show up, they immediately put on masks without a word of argument (more rare than should be the case, unfortunately) and did a superb job very efficiently. I did feel that each of their teams (sales, customer service and installers) were consistently courteous; I recommend ERG without hesitation.

Two large extensions built in the remote area of coastal Assynt with no interruption other than a few days of extreme weather. The team worked hard, very helpful and adaptable. They solved problems quickly as they arose. No delays at all because individual trades were not available. We were kept informed at all stages from the team on site and the staff at the office.
We are very happy with the work and the fact that start to finish went smoothly.

Good service at a "fair" price, not cheap but good quality windows, fitted well by Graeme and Paul. We'll done on getting out the old windows which the house had been built around. Not too messy, but small shards of glass left following the removal are a little annoying as I have a cat. I chose not to have trickle vents fitted as I live on the A82 and the noise reduction is brilliant. Thermal quality is good, though yet to be tested in winter. I have chosen to finish the interior myself as the house is a project. However, they look great from outside, see before and after pictures.

My wife emailed on 9/6/25 requesting a quote for secondary glazing. Silence. I phoned on 11/6 asking what's going on. A call back promised. Eventually a call stating the email went to a 'Brendan' who was on holiday (out of office reply anyone?) and would call me Monday (16/6). Silence. I call today 18/6 (reluctantly as this has NOT been encouraging to say the least) explaining the lack of anything, no apologies, put on hold to eventually hear the dreaded "How can I help?". I said I'd already explained everything to which she repeated (with a tone as if I was testing her patience) the scenario. So why " How can I help"? I was exasperated. By her tone you'd think I'd inconvenienced her. No apologies for the utter silence since our initial enquiry. I hung up before I lost my temper.
They failed in every claim of excellence and professionalism on their website and that was before anyone actually turned up. We're going elsewhere.

We decided to change our front and back doors and contacted ERG as they were widely recommended, and I am glad that we did.

From our first interaction of placing the order, to getting measured up and then finally the fitting process we have had nothing but a positive experience. In fact we changed our order for extras during the process requesting an additional bathroom window and some glazing units and we were easily accommodated.

Everything went smoothly and the installers were very professional and easy to communicate with. They tidied everything away before leaving and they left us with two external doors and a bathroom window, all installed to a very high standard.

As a result of this experience I would highly recommend ERG.

Overall I'm happy. The windows and door are good quality and keep the heat in, what I needed them to do. A few things I'm not impressed by are..

The window boards are lamboard, for what I paid I expected proper wood.

The corners of the window boards in my porch have a horrible looking strip to cover the join, I was told this is just how it's done. (photo below)

My old door must have been thicker, so where they pulled the old door out a hole has been left in the plasterboard on the roof.

As I left for work the day the windows were due to be installed I was told it would take a week, I expected everything finished when I returned 3 weeks later, not to be.

I also came home to some tyre marks on my grass, plenty room for them to park in my drive, it was just laziness so they didn't have to walk a extra few meters.

The product is good but the workmanship needs improvement.

Very happy with the service, appointments and delivery dates were met. We were initially surprised at the colour, it wasn’t quite as expected, maybe the brochure name needs changing, but now we love it. You can see the difference in the photos
