I switch regularly to ensure I am getting a good deal. Having said that, I do give these companies a chance to show me that they are competitive. If I am obviously being "stepped up" then I will leave. At present Igloo are not my very cheapest option but only by a small margin that is not worth changing for and on top of that, and this is hugely important, their customer service rating on Martin Lewis.com is good which cannot be said for many of the other cheaper options. You may save money but you will pay in other ways when things go wrong. Because this is a variable tariff it can change with the market in either direction so for now I am staying with them. We will see what they do if wholesale prices go down. The billing seems organised and timely and I have had no cause for complaint until now so no reason not to award 5 stars. They also arranged for a smart meter to be installed for free.

Really pleased to have joined Igloo energy, its great to support smaller suppliers and the website is easy to use. The pricing is fair and lower than my previous provider.

Randomly stumble across Igloo when looking for an electicity supplier in our new flat. We've been really happy with them.

They were already the cheapest supplier available when we joined and in the 9 months we've been with them they've cut the daily charge once and the per unit charge twice. (I think they trade back and forth with Bulb as being the cheapest supplier)

Only slight negative was that we got quoted a stupidly high monthly direct debit when we started (as a new flat they were estimating very high) however after 3 months we got the DD cut by 60% and a large chunk of our credit refunded. You also earn 3% on any outstanding credit so not in too much of a rush to take it back!

Overall am a very happy customer and honestly can't believe why so many people allow themselves to be ripped off by the bigger suppliers when there are companies like this around.

Don't bother, switched to them, had 2 price increases in 3 months, ended up having to switch again anyway. Customer service not great like displayed, they have my money in credit but won't refund until final bill. Regardless of final bill I should have my money even if they bill me for anything outstanding afterwards.

Massive thank you to the whole team at igloo energy and igloo works. From sales to install to customer service everybody is extremely friendly and efficient. My air-source heat pump is now up and running brilliantly. Can't be happier.

Stay away from this company! They are a bunch off amateurs. Try to organise a payment plan on my account and although agreed for 6 months at £86 a months within a span of 20 minutes they had adjust the repayments to £185.63 and 20 minutes later to £243.03. The balance was £750.
They also keep blocking my switch to another supplier. On and all untrusting!

This year still the cheapest!!
Customer service is the best I have dealt with anywhere - polite, happy, well spoken, and knowledgeable.

Significantly increased prices 2 times during the Covid pandemic. Everyone struggling with their health and work, but Igloo raise the prices with NO care about the society and the situation. SHAME ON YOU!
