Put my mower into Elgin depot for a service and check up. Had it returned a week later with an invoice for £740!!! Had daughters car fully serviced and mot'ed the same week for just £246.....I doubt I'll use Ravenhill again!!! Only got it serviced there to keep warranty valid.....better to just service myself and fix when required.
Service was good and helpfull but pricing a bit steep.

I called today and asked for a replacement Honda Recoil Assembly for a Honda CRV160 5.5 Flymo Engine. I was told that there were many part numbers and that they would contact me. When I got back to the football pitch where this mower is used I looked up the engine serial number and contacted the parts department at Raven hill where we have an account, to be told that he was to busy sorting accounts as he was on his own and did not know when he would be available to order our part!! I have checked online myself with the Honda parts department entered the engine serial number and the engine details i.e. CRV160 5.5 and found the part straight away and ordered it myself, so I will now have to contact the Club Treasurer to get my money back!! Raven Hill that's not how to run a business.
