My work MacBook was 1 mth out of its 6-year warranty and the screen died for no obvious reason the Apple Geniuses could find. They quoted me £589.70 inc VAT. Est. turnaround would be 5-7 days. I dropped it round to Anthony's place on Fri on my way home from work, and on Monday morning it was good to go with an advisory to get a board cleaned, which he did for £60. As I picked it up in person, His total bill came to £355. If you need any more than that to convince you to look to further than Bad Apples for all your Mac needs, then I'll also mention that Anthony is a thoroughly nice bloke and a consummate professional to boot. Keep it up, Anthony! 👏🏼

I left my 2010 iMac in Anthony’s very capable hands having used his services before, along with other family members. The machine was super slow and needed a new hard drive. Anthony replaced the hard drive and managed the data migration with great patience. I’d recommend his skills any day. I have used Bad Apples to repair a Mac mini which had a faulty graphics card and an iMac which had a faulty hard disk. Their service is fast, friendly and a lot cheaper than buying a new computer. Whats not to like. :o)

So glad i went to Anthony for a second opinion on my faulty mac. I initially went to a different company in the Jewellery Quarter and they misdiagnosed the problem and overcharged me. After investigating the issue Anthony found the problem was a damaged screen and not the M1 board which is what the other company claimed. Definitely recommend this service is you want someone who is honest and cares about his customers.
