Shocking. Archie came to look at a job for my son. He appeared very knowledgeable and agreed to send a quote for the work over. Despite three separate phone calls, two voicemails left and two messages left on messenger asking for a response even if he no longer wanted the job. NOTHING

I have all the messages saved and NO quote was sent. We also have proof of the phone calls made. We have found someone reliable so end of story

Absolutely brilliant, Archie came straight away to make electics safe after rain got into the electics. After roof was fixed he came again and refitted the light! I am very pleased with the work that was done and would recommend Archie!

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience with Hindle electrics who ended up being very unreliable.

They didn’t turn up when they said they would, and we had to call numerous times to find out what had gone on.

We were then told they’d try and come back later, only to be told at 4pm that it wasn’t possible and they would try again the next day.

It seems that others have had similar experiences so I wish I had read more of the reviews.

Overall because they weren’t very reliable I can’t recommend them.

They need to buy mobile phones for their engineers so they can call and confirm if they can't find the address. Last week, they charged me £250 but never turned up. Now i am asking for proof, they are not providing any proof of their visit and have kept my £250 for no reason. Poor customer service and no response.

Total time waster, agreed to come look at a problem I had on a date 2 weeks ahead and then never showed up and wouldn't reply to calls/messages. Two weeks wasted waiting when I could've arranged with another electrician to come. Didn't even have the decency to call and say he couldn't come or even that he'd forgotten!

Very disappointed. Kept rearranging appointments after they hadn’t turned up, which was annoying as I’d taken time off work to be home. Then eventually one of their lads did turn up but was in my house 5 minutes then said he had to leave urgently but would call to rearrange, he never did. Then they stopped responding to emails, very strange. So the work was never completed and I’ve been ignored. Will try someone else.

So where do I start. Initially I was happy with the service Archie provided but then my partner and another builder working in my property noticed alot of discrepancies in bills he provided.
He charged different hourly rates on different days, point blank refused to give me copies of any receipts when requested, apparently I'm not entitled to them ?
Now yesterday, I had a plasterer in the house he signed off, the wall he was plastering started to trip the electrics . I tried several means to get in touch with Hindle but he would not respond. Eventually after some time my plasterer rang him twice no answer, 3rd time calling he left a voicemail explaining the issue.
Hindle came out and made accusations ( via text also) that ' someone must have cut the wire in the wall because everything was fine when he signed it off.
Well guess what folks, after 2 hours of scratching his head ( couldn't find his balls !) he finally realises no wire has been cut in the wall as he made accusations but his new EXCUSE or theory was that it was a fault on an opposite wall between two sockets ( both of which he had previously checked and signed off)
Obviously not wanting to tarnish his reputation he would not admit fault . He could not explain why the wall was tripping the switch and chose to blame the plasterer (in his absence) saying he must have dripped water on a socket.
My plaster also noted the kitchen lights installed were left with a fault also.
Archie Hindle says this is a family run buisness,ask him to elaborate......what he means is its him that gets his unqualified dad to work for him cash in hand.
I highlighted the issus on a social media platform of which he has tried to get me banned and my comments removed.
3 people got in touch with me regarding his work.

Apparently his father has been working unsupervised on jobs for him.

Reported to relevant authorities.

Hindle electrics have always provided an excellent service for both my company and home ! Archie is always polite and happy to assist in any way he can .
