If I could leave no stars I would. I no longer get paper bills, I can't access my online account .Consequently I have no idea what is due & when. Recently someone turned up at my shop demanding over £900 or the supply would be disconnected. This was paid immediately by my member of staff in my absence. I have no idea what this sum related to. This is by far the worst utility company I've ever come across. It's impossible to contact them.

Castle water turned off our residential water supply when intending to disconnect a neighbouring commercial property. We were without water for approx. 8 hours, until 11pm at night when Thames Water thankfully came and reconnected the supply.
Upon raising this with Castle water to ask them not to disconnect us again, Rhys the live chat agent was incredibly unhelpful, didn’t apologise for us being incorrectly disconnected until prompted to do so and told us the fault is with Thames Water. He disconnected the chat without resolution.
Somehow Castle Water disconnecting the wrong water supply line is Thames Water’s fault?
I’m very grateful that I don’t have an account with this useless company.

Honestly an absolutely terrible company and completely incompetent. I set up a business account with them and the first bill they sent me was astronomically high. I questioned why it was so high and they told me its because they had written down my business hard 7+ employees when I only had 1 !

They informed me I must still pay the very inflated bill while they correct their mistake otherwise I will get a fine !

Its been over three months and they haven't corrected the mistake, I'm still paying an excessive water bill. When I phone up they simply say they can't help me and I can only email my case handler (who doesn't email back) .

Please don't use Castle Water, a horrible and useless company.

Extortionate unfair charging policy for late payments. Charging £101 for missed payment a month. They also levi charges for fake debt collections. Rude customer service staff unwilling to help. Rudely declined to suspend any enforcement action despite disputed bill and pending an outcome of a formal complaint.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
My business had a silent internal leak from a pressure relief valve - the water went straight into the drainage so was not obvious.
Over a period of six months, a £1300 bill was run up (usually £100).
Despite firm assurances that I would receive my money back, through leak allowance, this has now been denied.
Despite Castle water receiving monthly readings, there is no leak monitoring or alerting system in place when usage spikes.
Apparently, it's 'my' responsibility to be aware of silent leaks, despite my paying them to "manage" my water supply.
Obviously there is a perverse financial reason for them not wanting to create an alerting system when there are water usage spikes.
Absolute thieves...I now need to pursue through the water regulator and/or the small claims court - time I can ill afford.
Steer clear of this fundamentally dishonest business...the reviews says it all...

the worst company. refused to connect me to manager because he "didn't want to" stay away from these crooks add extra charges to water bill. Changes over to paperless bills WITHOUT INFORMING CUSTOMERS and you are givenlate payment fees

I wish I could give 0 stars. Charged me £600 more than what my bill should have come to (should have been £90) as I missed 2 payments (as I was not receiving any invoices from them). Only a few staff members were slightly helpful but the rest were beyond rude and dismissive. As a small business owner they have caused a lot of harm and stress to my business and would advise anyone NOT to use castle water!

I can only agree with all the negative reviews. Castle Water amended my bill several times. Confused by the changes, I missed a payment (my bad): a revised invoice was sent that included some interest charges. Fair enough. The revised invoice clearly stated that the whole amount was due on a specific date 14 days.In the meantime, Castle Water applied not only a late payment fee but also debt collection charges. This is such dubious practice - but a good way to boost their profits. Exactly same happened to me as well. Thats why i found that their reviews are so bad. Please stay away from this company .
