Excellent service. We have a skip that was due for collection today but unfortunately, I pulled a muscle in my back over the weekend and have been unable to lift anything and therefore fill the skip. Sent a message yesterday (Sunday) to advise but of course this was not received in time. Driver turned up today, was very helpful and put me onto head office. Staff have been very understanding and quickly agreed to an extra week. Very impressed and grateful.

We were let down by another skip company as needed it for the weekend. EKR managed to get a skip to us on Saturday morning, and collected the Monday a few hours after calling them to let them know. The speed of service and price we cannot fault and will definitely recommend them.

We hire a lot of skips and I have to say these guys were really great. There was an issue on site with how the site team had loaded the skip and rather then just leave it to us to sort out, the driver came up with a solution and helped implement it. The office were brilliant at keeping us informed too! Excellent!

Called EKR late on Tuesday to organise a 12 yard skip for a house clearance over the weekend, permit organised and skip arrived as promised nice and early on Saturday morning. Very friendly driver that promised he'd also organise the collection on the Monday for me. Just to be sure called the office Monday morning to arrange collection to be told already in the book to be collected. Fantastic service from first call through to last, great price, very happy and will use again if needing a skip.

Unfortunately I’ve had an absolutely horrible and negative experience with East Kent Recycling. John in the office is extremely rude and unprofessional, even his colleague commented so on the phone in agreement with me, and his emails were incredibly abrupt.

The website allowed me to book a skip for Monday under next day delivery and I was informed on Monday that my skip would not be coming. Instead of an apology, a partial refund or any kind of compensation, I was informed told that “As you can imagine, we don’t work 24/7” so your skip won’t be coming.

I emailed plenty of times to suggest not only should they fix the website to prevent this happening again, but to also express my disappointment but it all fell on deaf ears. I finally got a response this morning from a colleague, but was still informed that they could not offer any kind of compensation and instead I asked for a full refund.

I’m amazed that this company would prefer for me to leave this negative review as opposed to offering me the next size skip as an apology for eg, but I think it just goes to show their lack of customer service and care.

Thankfully I have since secured NEXT DAY DELIVERY from RS skips and am delighted to say that they were not only friendlier but also cheaper. Definitely do your research before booking with this company.
