This town has so much potential! Website catalytic not to look far off. Reading tocould be a gateway to England's southwest coast. But despite such great people here it could use a jet wash. Every exterior surface. A preponderance of graffiti, grime , wear&tear. The bus service is the best with superior drivers! Award winning drivers. Great bus app! Great train station both the Elizabeth Line & National Rail.

Reading train station is a very busy train station that is served by Cross Country trains the Elizabeth line, GWR and Southwestern trains. The station is big with a number of entrances and exits here the concourse is large and wide with food outlets benches and toilets. The ticket hall area is large and wide with a number of ticket barriers to use here there is plenty of staff around to help. The station was clean and tidy when I came here and there is up to 15 platforms here.

Good station overall. Well-organised and easy to navigate. There’s a bit of walking between platforms, which is expected in a large station, but nothing inconvenient. Trains to London are always in the same place, so it’s straightforward to find your way around.

Not a classic old British train station, but surely a classic new one.

Reading train station is very large with plenty of facilities, shops, restaurants and good toilets. It is very large in area and can be daunting the first time you use it to change.

It is a major transport hub and the western end of the Elizabeth line. It is obviously very busy at times.

Right outside is an interesting pub, "The Three Guineas" - well worth a visit.

Providing links to pretty much anywhere in the country. A major hub for both business and pleasure. Its convenience of being situated in the city centre adds to its importance for both local and national residents. The station is reasonably tidy compared to many other stations. There are also cafes, takeaways, toilets and even a pub.

The station is located just a few minutes walk away from the main high street in Reading, as well as the River Thames and many offices. Trains run to a huge variety of destinations including London, Devon and Cornwall, South Wales, North East and more, with many passengers using it as an interchange station between services. The station has had an extensive refurbishment and rebuild around 10 years ago and this not only looks great, but improves the passage and information around the station greatly. There are toilets located on all of the through platforms and plenty more dotted around the station, as well as a good selection of shops and cafes throughout. There are plenty of platforms available for relief when disruption occurs and the platform boards update quickly, containing accurate and up-to-date information.

One of the biggest and busiest railway stations in the UK outside of London, it serves as a major junction for services between London, the West Country, South Wales, and the North.

The station is has multiple entrances and exits with lifts, and escalators to all platforms, not to mention, most of times one or the other lifts will be out of order and very crowded during peak hours. There are real-time train information available downstairs and upstairs. The trains from here generally don't get delayed but gets cancelled all the time, so check before you travel.

There are variety of shops, cafes, and waiting areas(in every platforms). The station also has a large ticket hall with automated machines, making purchasing or collecting tickets quick and straightforward. Additionally, there are restrooms and baby-changing facilities.

Thee station'sΒ  is modern and spacious. The staffs are very helpful in case you need assistance. Clean restrooms and pathways. There is also information centres in both the levels.
