This was a superb station to arrive at, with lengthy platforms for the train services and signs to help find our way around efficiently! Station has solid access to the airport and departure boards are kept up to date, cleanliness was solid too.

Didn’t realise Birmingham was quite so International if I’m honest! There is a really next level conference centre here which is so huge and just so cool. Then there is a FLIPPING airport! It has MORE aeroplanes than I’ve ever seen before! Again I didn’t touch them because they’re scary wary and I don’t understand how they work. A shame really, it’ll take me 12 weeks to walk back to Belarus when it would only take me 4 hours on a plane. Oh well

a beautiful train station. Quite active and sometimes very intense. You can reach the event and exhibition centers of Birmingham airport by getting off at this station. You can go to every part of England in Yemen by train from this station. Waiting areas are adequate and clean. Toilets are adequate and clean. Escalators and elevators active

I was travelling back from London today when I got off the train at Birmingham International I went to pay for my parking and realised I’d left my purse on the train.
I went to the main desk in the station, they told me to go back to the platform where I got off the train and report it to them.
I knocked on the door and was met by a very rude lady. I explained I left my purse on the train. She said I will try and contact New Street Station which was the next stop, But not to hold my Breath.

I then stood on the platform for around 15 minutes looked at the travel line app. I could see that the train had left New St at this point and she still hasn’t come out. I knocked the door again and was Ignored although I could clearly see her in there.

I was very distraught by the fact that I left my purse it had my cards, money and ticket for the car park, but she literally didn’t even care and left me there for 15 minutes in the end I walked off contacted the car park directly who were very helpful.

I’m not sure what her name was, she had short blonde hair, but she was very rude and made me feel like I done something wrong. You seriously need to look at how your staff treat customers.

Very convenient and easy to navigate. Shuttle monorail thingy comes very regularly to transport you from the platform to the airport and vice-versa. Staff were very helpful without me even asking for help. Can't really blame the station for problems that are caused by the rail companies.

Incredibly noisy station with constant announcements literally every fifth second. Long and unnecessary and way too frequent, just pure noise pollution. Also the ticket gates and staff won't let me enter the station/platform proper until 20min before departure which is just a weird and cumbersome choice.

I've never left a review on a rail station before because who does that. But this station just had a ton of bad choices related to its running which hamper the comfort of travellers.

The sheer amount of announcements while waiting for the train drove me to the point to write a review… sitting in the waiting area on the platform… there’s an announcement every 5-10 seconds (I counted). It’s insane and disruptive. One thing is to announce delays and upcoming trains, and of course important to announce safety measures as well, but to repeat the same announcements every 5-10 SECONDS is INSANE. And I cannot NOT listen to them cause one might be relevant. I do not however need to hear See it Say it Sorted 2 times in 1 bloody minute, or how to get a bicycle onboard once a minute as well. I also do not need to hear about every bloody train every second when it’s the same announcement from literally 30 seconds ago…

And I certainly do not need to hear a «we’re sorry for the delay on…» twice every minute either (for the same train as well)… (yes I counted).

I suspect a goldfish is in charge of the announcements…

The airport has multiple flights delayed in excess of 5 hours yet the staff are staying clam, polite, and efficient. I am fortunate to get access to the Aspire lounge where staff and working hard to keep all passengers comfortable.
