Our experience with John Garcia, supervisor and representative of Kingdom Cleaning at the 7th Floor of The Featherstone Building (Buro Happold site), has been extremely disappointing.

He hired my daughter to work cleaning shifts without providing a contract, induction, or basic training. She was asked to perform deep cleaning tasks alone with no PPE or uniform provided. After just a few days, she was abruptly told she was no longer needed, without any official dismissal notice.

When asked repeatedly for the name of the employer, John refused to disclose it and even stated he would only reveal the company once the site access card was returned — making it feel like wages and transparency were conditional on handing back security property. This was highly unprofessional and raised serious concerns about site management, compliance with UK employment law, and worker welfare.

The lack of communication, transparency, and professionalism from John Garcia as a representative of Kingdom Cleaning reflects very poorly on the standards expected of a supervisor at a site of this scale.
