We are very disappointed to inform you that it has now been three weeks since our bin has not been collected. Despite multiple follow-ups over the phone, we continue to receive the same response each day—that the bin will be collected today. Unfortunately, this has not happened.

This ongoing delay is unacceptable, and we urge you to resolve this matter immediately.

We hope this issue will be addressed without further delay.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Previously a good company, has gone to the pits in the last year. They fail about 15 per cent of collections, take 15 to 30 minutes to answer the phone and a month to respond to emails but only when chased. My account manager Lloyd has failed to return 6 emails and 4 voice messages over the past 3 weeks and I have been assured he has not left the company ir died. Both my pubs have handed notice and switched to KP waste who have said they've already taken over 100 sites from unhappy Cawleys customers. Please avoid.

Been a customer with Cawleys for over a decade with good service on the whole - customer service has fallen off a cliff since their takeover by Suez. Payments 'missing', despite providing proof of payment, they still argue that they've not been paid. Failing to attend collections, then invoicing for collections they did not attend, now i've had to turn away a driver who came to collect the REL 'due to non-payment'. Absolute joke they have become. After hours on the phone (goddamn premium rate number - who the hell do they think they are!!) finally get a 'area manager' to email me back, having clearly not reviewed any of our account data/complaints, but i cant even get hold of her directly by phone, or email because their email address does not accept incoming mail! '550 5.7.1 Service unavailable, Client host [92.204.71.150] blocked using Customer Block list AS(110) '

To hell with them - take the REL away, see you in court over your 'invoices'.

Go elsewhere for your waste needs.

I've spent so much time emailing and calling Cawleys regarding our non-collections that I have no time left in the day to write a lengthy review so I'll keep this short and sweet.
RUBBISH!!!!!
Which is also what you will have loads of if you sign a contract with them at the moment.
Drivers must have broad shoulders to deal with the abuse from customers after reading some of the previous reviews.

The company is completely collapsing and failing since Suez bought the business.
Endless failed collections, customer service can’t resolve the issues, billing issues, it’s a disaster, we’ve now cancelled and they won’t let us close it down properly, I’m now going to have to return the bins to them myself! Used them for over a decade and it’s such a shame!

We have been a customer for 14 years to my knowledge and probably since we opened in 1980. Until about a years ago we had no problems but service has gone downhill rapidly particularly in the last 6 months!
I have been trying unsuccessfully to get our general waste bin emptied since mid-June and it includes food waste great in this hot weather! I have made numerous phone calls (waiting time to be answered is normally over 20 min) and sent emails and we are still waiting for the general rubbish & glass bin to be emptied.
We have been reassured by at least 4 different staff that the bins will be emptied as a priority, then on the day of the "collection" we get automated messages to say it will be the following day and then nothing happens!
To add insult to injury you have even billed us for a collection that did not happen on the 25th June.
I am now having to ask our caterer to double bag the rubbish as we can't get it in the bin.

Left so many emails to end my contract not even bothers to contact me back. Rang the number they have its a premium number which cost per min. Was on hold for 20 mins! Then it cut off. What a joke of a company. Have decided to cut my direct debit so see if they will even bother to contact me. No idea how they are even running with no customer service. Have email several times. No REPLY!!!!!

Have been a Cawleys customer for 10 yearsand have been reasonably happy most of the time. (A few hiccups along the way). However, since being taken over by Suez, their service seems to be going downhill. For the second time in just over a month, we have had no collection. I emailed at 10.30am to find out when we can expect to have our waste collected. It is now after 5.30pm (their office now closed) and have still not received a response.
We are a small high street business and have to leave our waste on the pavement. It is usually collected early in the morning, before the road gets busy, meaning we have to put the waste out the previous evening at close of business. It has now been on the pavement 24 hours and we have no idea if we will get a collection this week, or not.
New owners take note - you are dragging Cawleys name down fast!
