We used AMBS Eco Solutions for a recent project to extend the back of our house to build a new kitchen. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough both in terms of the quality of their work and general day to day dealings with them.

They were there every step of the way and were happy to adapt when needed. The contractors were helpful and courteous and clearly all took a huge amount of pride in their work. They were efficient and tidy and nice to have around the house whist the work was being done.

We are very happy with our kitchen and I would not hesitate to use AMBS again for another project and would recommend them to anyone.

We asked AMBS Eco Solutions to modernise the back of our home including a new kitchen and bathroom, dining room and a redesigned patio area with planting features. Andy and his incredibly capable team of tradesman were that rare combination of professional and thoughtful throughout. Andy talked us through the work stage by stage, so we always new what was happening and advised us on the best materials to comply with our eco-build standards. Our home is now an aboslute joy to live in. Warm in winter, cool in summer, modern and stylish inside and out with our lovely patio and garden beds (made entirely from sleepers) creating a fabulous contrast and something a little different that impresses all who visit. We could not be happier.

We cannot recommend AMBS Eco Solutions enough for any home and building work.

We had friends that had used AMBS Eco Solutions Limited for their house renovation. Seeing the work they had done and from their recommendation we hired them to carry out our rear extension. We had anticipated the process being quite stressful but I’m pleased to say from start to finish we were impressed with the service provided. We were kept informed of the process throughout the build with Andy always available to answer any queries we had and offer advice when needed. All of Andy’s team were very friendly and considerate of us living in the property during the build. We are extremely pleased and the end product exceeded our expectations.

Recently we required port-a loos for a charity event that AMBS sponsored and Andrew sourced and sorted this extremely efficiently.

Andy and his team did a great job renovating our bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. They achieved exactly what we wanted and did it quickly and with minimal snags. They worked really cleanly and minimised disruption and mess. Thoroughly recommended.

We hired AMBS for a 40sqm extension and first-floor bathroom renovation, but the project was troubled by delay and mistakes. Roofing work was left unfinished over winter, forcing us to hire another roofer at our own cost. Unexpected charges appeared for work we hadn’t authorised or that was incomplete. When we questioned these, there was hostility and AMBS employed a debt collector- though this action was later dropped. In the end, we had to complete the project ourselves. Based on our experience, we’d advise careful consideration before working with this company. However, it appears from more recent reviews that practices may have improved.

Andy and his team at AMBS Eco solutions have just finished a two storey rear extension for us. Their standard of work has been exceptional and Andy's communication has been excellent. We did have a short delay due to supply issues with materials but this was clearly communicated to us and every effort was made to minimise the impact. As the project progressed, we inevitably had requests for small additional works or adaptations not included in the initial quote. These requests were met with a "can do" attitude and any additional or indeed reduced costs were clearly communicated in advance. Andy's team worked hard to minimise disruption to our family life from the build and were incredibly careful with our dog to make sure she was both safe and not distressed. His team were extremely courteous and conscientious and their attention to detail is excellent. Andy has responded very quickly to any queries or small snagging issues post build. We would have no hesitation both in using AMBS again or in recommending them to others.
