We visited twice in the week, Sunday and Tuesday.
Both times met with a warm welcome. Service is excellent. Really is. Cannot praise the staff enough. Kind, attentive, polite and friendly.

Also the food was delicious. Only criticism was the prawns were a bit on the dry side as a starter.

Everything else was delicious. On Sunday we had pork belly and the Yorkshire pudding to start then fillet steak for mains.

Tuesday I had the lamb which was delicious.

Then we had the banoffee pie which is delicious but might be worth sharing. So good we had it again Tuesday.

We love Miller & Carter food. I do find it varies from one location to another however Rotheley always seems to be the best. Our only issue on this occasion was my steak was cold and returned to me (the same one) cold again. They cooked a fresh one which was nice and hot but more rare than the first and blood all over my plate which put me off. I wish I had kept the cold one. Disappointing on this occasion as normally spot on. We would return again to give another chance. Also to add Ruby was amazing and what a credit to the restaurant. A nice touch from management would have been for a little discount but this didn’t happen.

When we were first seated we were underneath a speaker playing loud music. We asked to be moved and that was done immediately! So thank you. Great food and service.

We had a 5-cousin get-together and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed excellent service by our waiter, James.
The atmosphere was lovely, but slightly noisy, due to the popularity of the place and it being a Saturday evening.
Our seating area was for six. I didn't see a wardrobe area where one might have been able to have left one's coat. Several guest left without coats, so I assume they had left outer garments in their cars or not brought any - perhaps due to the lack of a wardrobe area?
We started off with drinks while waiting for our table. I appreciated my requested gin and tonic being perfectly blended. The five of us didn't have much space in front of the bar though as guests where walking by.
The food was fabulous, from steak to creme brulee. A little pricey, but worth it.
