29/10/25: This is a beautifully kept adults only site; every aspect of this campsite is immaculately tended and cared for. The facilities are as clean and fresh looking as the day they were installed. The pitches are large and flat making for an easy park up; you will struggle to find a tuft of grass or leaves on any of the gravel pitches and the grassy areas and verges are neatly manicured.

There are two main lakes within the grounds; one for fishing containing sizeable carp and the second for swimming if you are able to brave the cold water.

A large section is available for walking dogs off lead and a special small field is available for our four legged friends who may need a more secure area to run around in.

Llanidloes is only a half mile away with its picturesque architecture, with numerous cosy cafes, restaurants and taverns.

The site is a credit to the owners and people working there.

This is a beautiful very well kept site and we couldn’t have asked for any better. We were on pitch 7 which is one of the larger pitches. All amenities included. We had plenty of room even for our 9 metre RV. There are various walks directly from the site to the local town, from 20 mins-2 hours. The town has everything you need including a few lovely pubs. The view from our pitch was superb, it really is a lovely location. Very quiet and peaceful, we will definitely be back! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, thank you Red Kite for a great stay.

We have had the best time at Red Kite with our two frenchies. One of the cleanest campsites we have been to we've some great facilities. Quick WiFi, drinking and non drinking water on your own extra large pitch with incredible views. A dog walk for the pups with an enclosed dog field, pond and forest walk. We normally use the campsites just for somewhere to sleep as we are used to venturing out most days but here we loved the location so much that we had a few days just chilling in the sun on our pitch. Super friendly hosts, thanks for everything! If we lived closer then it would definitely be a regular spot for us

Without doubt the best Adult only site in the UK. Tranquil, peaceful, immaculately cared for by the team. Right in the heart of Wales and still the WiFi is good enough to stream your favourite TV programmes and games. The pitches are massive with room to spare. The views from most of the pitches is awesome. Customer service is brilliant with every member of the team going the extra mile. Fishing lake and a superb dog walking area complement the site beautifully. Toilets and showers are always spotlessly clean.

Fabulous site, probably the best one we have stayed at. From the minute you arrive you are given a warm welcome by Chantelle and Tom, taken directly to your pitch and everything is explained with a lovely smile while fussing our dogs and giving them treats. Nothing is too much trouble and that smile never dims. The toilet block is pristine. Hubby was particularly impressed with the chemical waste point, while I made use of the dog wash area for our pups. As a dog groomer myself I loved the grooming bath complete warm water, free dog shampoo and an excellent power dryer. The dog walk is huge and there is a fenced lake in the middle for the fishermen. The views are stunning and the walks into the forest directly from site were so beautiful. The site is definitely tranquil and I felt so rested and peaceful there. My only disappointment was that we only booked 2 nights, I could have stayed for weeks. We will definitely be back soon. Oh and of course we saw plenty of Kite! Forgot to take pics except the ones in the forest.

I cannot recommend this site highly enough. The location is outstanding about a mile out of the quaint little market town of Llanidloes, an easy walk even for the not so fit. The site is immaculately kept with extra ordinary facilities including a proper professional dog wash. There are 10 acres of land which dogs can roam freely on. The pitches are generous and fully serviced.||But what makes this site special are the staff they take customer service to a whole new level and are genuinely caring and committed to their guests having the best holiday possible.

A wonderful touring park in a beautiful location. The wardens were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and very helpful. The facilities were brilliant. The walks from the site were good - unfortunately the bridge was closed when we were there so we had to walk the roads into the village, and the co-op was closed also having a refit - but these things happen. The weather wasn't in our favour, but the wardens made everything lovely and always had a smile on their faces. We will definitely be returning
