Big car park within walking distance of the beach. Sometimes the pay machines can be temperamental, but mostly ok. You can buy permits if you wish to park for longer than a day and this works out very cost effective.

Thought this was supposed to be a long stay car park! Hourly options up to a max of 3.5 hours only for £7.70. The only other option after that is 24 hours for £8.80.

3.5 hours is hardly a long stay is it? I thought long stay meant maybe 6 hours or so. It's quite a walk into the main shopping area from there too.

Don't like to think how short the short stay car parks are for, or the cost.

Get your act together Sidmouth and stop fleecing the motorist!

Great carpark great access and not a bad price for long stay,it is a fare walk (or roll in a wheelchair as I am) to town but a lovely one you can visit Connaught gardens which is opposite, and on your way to the town you pass afew buildings of interest,a lovely sidewalk along the beach which leads to town where you will find a great variety of shops and tea shops and lovely gardens behind the church
