Terrible company. I moved into a property recently where the gas meter was capped by northern gas and they also took the ecv with them . After I moved in , I contacted them several times to uncap it as I am the new tenant and I needed gas as I am freezing cold without gas now. They were not ready to uncap my meter and were asking for 2000 pounds. I said to them very clearly that what ever they have to do is with the owner and not me. As a new tenant I deserve the service and they are denied me of gas even though I am ready to pay my bills !! It’s extremely cold and I am getting poly. PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR NORTHERN GAS AS THESE PEOPLE DOES NOT CARE AND THEY ARE MOT BOTHERED ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS!!

Smelt gas at the in-laws and called these guys immediately...
I can't praise them enough! Super supportive, thorough and a very quick response! The engineer checked every part of the home's systems and attached appliances. He found two gas leaks form recent renovations and gave my farther in-law really good advice on what happens next. He blanked off the gas making the home safe. Not sure if I should be saying this, but the engineer went above and beyond and called the installer so he could hear all the issues from the horse's mouth. Thank you so much Northern Gas Network!

Terrible company. Parked on private property during extended gas works breaking a fence in the process.

Fence not repaired, contacted customer service a month ago. Nine emails and two promised phone calls later and all have been ignored.

As a gas network, customers have no choice and it really shows. Monopolies are clearly the best business in town. Sadly, this means Northern Gas Works feel they can do and say as they please with no consequence.

Been trying to contact someone at Northern gas Networks because the roadside repairs and traffic light system they have put up are causing chaos. Traffic lights permanently on red...no one can move and barriers allover road. No facility to leave a message and somone keeps answering phone and then hanging up. Unbelievable

I have had a very disappointing experience with Northern Gas . I am an elderly person in 80s with multiple heath issues and balance problem unable to climb stairs and ladder. meter is very high which can't be reached without ladder which I can't do. I tried to ring many times but the line goes silent. They have a duty of care to alter poition for free
