Took my car here today after I saw all the great reviews on here and I'm so glad I did. I went to pool street garage for a noise when going over bumps, they tried to make out there was nothing wrong until eventually they fitted a shock absorber but the noise was still there. Ive brought it here and within an hour and a half they found the problem and sorted it out straight away and now my car drives great again. They rang me with the price before getting on with the work and honestly the pricing here is great. Wouldnt go anywhere else now. Couldn't recommend them enough. Thankyou so much.

Came in to repair a tyre which they did promptly but £36 to plug a tyre is excessive.

Added to that, which has put me off the place, is the fact they damaged my alloy wheel in the process and didn’t say anything. Only noticed a few days later whilst checking the tyre.
Won’t be going back to get ANY work done.
I cant even be bothered to go back and complain as I know I’ll get a good fobbing-off story!

Fantastic garage, I would definitely recommend and in fact have done so to all family and friends. I've been going here for over 6 years now and cannot fault them. The whole team are friendly and helpful and consistently go above and beyond to help. I recently took my van in for a job which it then turned out would cost more to fix than the vehicle was worth. Because I then decided to scrap the vehicle I didn't end up actually paying for any work to be done, but Hisseys still went above and beyond to help me get sorted despite this putting them out and being of no benefit to them. In other examples they've explained my MOT results and instead of trying to scam me by telling me everything needs doing asap, they've been honest about what needs doing now, what can wait, and what I need to look/listen out for. They'll always tell me what they think the most cost efficient solution to my problem is and instead of letting me pay for anything and everything they'll always let me know if they think work isn't worth doing due to the overall age/condition of my vehicle (I tend to have old vehicles and drive them until they fall apart). They're good at explaining exactly what a problem/fault is so that I understand the issue, which gives me even more confidence in them as I can understand what I'm spending my money on and why. I can't rate Hisseys highly enough.
