Great service. I asked loads of questions, which they were happy to answer, includign sending additional pictures. When I did order they delivered promptly, and the delivery guy couldn't have been more accommodating. The reclaimed walling stone I ordered was exceptional, very well priced and very nice stone. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kieran,who tailored his individual approach to our needs. With patience, and kindness, Kieran, exceeded the most stringent of expectations, and kept in touch with us throughout the whole process. His friendship and enthusiasm proves to be invaluable.
Upon delivery, William, the driver simply could not do enough for us too, and went to extraordinary lengths to ensure all our stone was placed on site exactly where we specified, despite any personal cost to himself. The people at Abacus that I dealt with were super friendly and very helpful. The stone arrived on time and the quality is exceptional. I have bought stone before but it was not nearly as fine as this. There are some dodgy people out there but they are not at Abacus. I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm to anyone whether in the trade or just buying for themselves (as I was). Thank you Margaret for keeping me well informed as to when the shipments would arrive, Driver- absolutely top man and really helpful and of course Chris, who kept me informed as to the progress of the lambing. Extremely poor and unprofessional service. Ordered stone 3 weeks ago and despite numerous assurances it would be delivered it never arrived! It delayed my project and I incurred unnecessary labour charges. I had to hire a van and collect it myself. No apology or discount offered. Very poor communication and service. Wont be using them again.

Everything they have stated in their response is misleading and inaccurate and untrue. I have all the text messages. Speaks volumes when they have to lie instead of apologizing and learning from their mistakes. I had agreed to pay for delivery. They told me they would deliver the order but never did.

Please read this before you sell stone flags.
I got in touch with Traditional Stone in Wakefield who quoted me £400 to buy my stone flags. Asked Abacus for a quote, they came back with £450, I sent both of them pictures on Whats App so they knew exactly what they were getting. They got some guys to call me about collection. After loading the flags up on the van I was told I'm now only getting £280. I messaged the guy who put me in touch, his reply was literally "ok". Very unprofessional, if you're looking to sell flags, avoid them.
