If you want top quality top of the range goods, don't shop here.
If you want stuff that will do the job at a very affordable price then this is the place for you.

My go to d.i.y. shop ! Been using Ability for many years now from it's little unit at Leechmere to what and where they are now. I don't even consider going to the likes of B&Q because of cost , location and access . The owners have got it spot on and their inventory , cost and choice of goods and it gets bigger and better every year ! 5 ⭐

Used them for quite a few bits and pieces of over the last few months. Prices are very good and you can find nearly everything you need.
Might be nice if the checkout staff were a bit friendlier and you were offered a bag if its obvious you need one(10p)

Got home checked the receipt found I’d been overcharged they rang the item thru twice
It’s not worth the drive back for the sake of a fiver so thought I’d call the 0844 number on the receipt is premium rate the 0191 number rang it 120 times and it’s always engaged so the assumption is it’s off the hook
As mentioned by other customers place is great and prices are generally very good after sails mmmm
