Excellent service, thank you able group.
Had a quote to fit new glass in an internal door and window.
Was fitted when they said it would be by an excellent glazier who was friendly, knowledgeable and competent. Job didn't take too long and he cleaned up after working.
Thank you again, would definitely use able services again for another project.

Wasp nest treatment made absolutely ZERO difference. More wasps now than before. Contacted them (after waiting 10 days as they advised me to do) to ask them to return and address this but they refused unless I paid a second fee IN FULL. I’m now £160 down and still have a wasp problem. Could not recommend this business on price, effectiveness of treatment or any other measure of customer service. Suggest you use another company.

Would not recommend! This is not a local service as advertised, but a national group which is probably the reason they don't offer a lot of customer care. We've paid £160 for a wasp removal service only for the problem to persist 1 week on. The gentleman that came out, was very pleasant and mentioned to call him back if his service didn't get rid of the wasps, but unfortunately when we called the company again, we were told we have to pay another £160 pounds for a new treatment. That's disappointing as that's not what we were told on site and we're left with the payment but zero outcome. If you can, choose someone truly local to your area, who wants your business and will aim to deliver the services promised.

I asked Able Group to repair a door latch that kept sticking. I was quoted for repair or replacement but ultimately charged for a “service” which essentially just confirmed what I knew already, namely that the lock mechanism was fine but the latch needed replacing. Therefore I cannot recommend this company. I would at the very least suggest clarifying whether any quote will definitely include repair or replacement. A “service” seems to just mean charging you for telling you what you already know.

I unfortunately cannot recommend able group for pest control. I had an issue with rats. They charged a fortune for a couple of short visits, one for a cursory inspection, and one for pickup of poison that hadn't been taken. The inspection was inadequate - completely missing the issue which was an entry point at the front of my neighbour's property, clearly visible from the pavement.
After the booking with Able Group yielded no results I used a different local company who identified it quickly. After permission was sought, the issue was quickly and professionally resolved.

We received an excellent service when using Able Group for our replacement window. They arrived within 2 hours to board up and quote for a replacement window after my call. The price they quoted on the day remained the same and we received no further charges upon completion of the job.

We will definitely be using them again if we find ourselves in the same position again with a smashed front window. As a care home company they are a great asset for us to have on our supplier list for a fast response time.

My son moved into his first house & had a water leak. Phoned Able, they sent someone out that day. Plumber arrived, fixed leak & also installed the washing machine. Also gave him some advice on other things. Would definitely use again.

Invoiced £166 for wasp removal that did not work as wasps still prolific a week later. They refused to come back and rectify the issue without a further payment.
Another company came out and dealt with it properly and no further issues. Complained to Head Office but just got a standard response.
