We're very happy with the service provided for the removal of an asbestos tile. Our initial phone call was dealt with swiftly and politely and we received an early appointment. Raf was clearly knowledgable and experienced and saved us money on what we were expecting to pay after he had assessed the situation on arrival. His work was swift, thorough and clean and provided me with all the information I needed. We have already recommended to others.

We had some floor tiles removed from our living room. The operative who completed the work was very friendly and hard-working, but they were on their own and after probably 6 hours of labour-intensive work, they failed to properly decontaminate the area which in fairness I only noticed a while after they'd left- leaving a significant number of small fragments of the tile. They were very apologetic when I contacted their 24/7 support line, but we were still left with it in that state overnight, albeit slightly reassured over the phone that the risk was lower with it being a vinyl product. It was thoroughly cleaned by the same operative early the next morning.

I don't think the job should have been done alone- it should at the very least have been signed off by another operative with a fresh pair of eyes. I think this failing falls squarely on the planning and management of the job. I'm hoping they've already reviewed this incident to ensure it doesn't happen again, as clearly something went wrong on this occasion, and hopefully the blame doesn't just land on the operative. I was hoping to be leaving another of many positive reviews, but sadly I can't.

Very helpful and honest company. Alison and Raf were very helpful and communicated well. They took my roof tiles off quickly and left the place clean and tidy. The price is reasonable too, Can't ask for more.

AF Environmental provided an excellent service to remove the asbestos cement undercloaking from our utility room roof. The operative who came to do the work, Matt, was very helpful and reassuring and I would highly recommend him and AF Environmental.
