My experience at AKGEC College has been underwhelming, primarily due to poor management and overhyped claims about placements and discipline. The administration seems disorganized and often enforces arbitrary rules that do not contribute to the academic or personal growth of students. This creates a frustrating and restrictive environment.

The college heavily promotes its placement records and discipline, but the reality falls short of these claims. The placement opportunities are not as impressive as advertised, with many students struggling to secure positions in reputable companies. The support and guidance provided during the placement process are minimal, leaving students to fend for themselves.

Discipline is touted as a major strength, but it often translates to unnecessary restrictions and a lack of freedom for students. This does not foster a healthy learning atmosphere but rather adds to the stress and dissatisfaction among the student body.

Furthermore, the management is inefficient in handling various aspects of college life, from organizing events to addressing student concerns. Issues such as inadequate facilities, poor maintenance, and lack of proper communication from the administration are common.

Overall, AKGEC College needs to significantly improve its management practices and deliver on its promises regarding placements and discipline. Until then, I would advise prospective students to consider these factors before making a decision.

I am a BTech ECE student here 2023-27 batch. The college infrastructure is based on German architecture. Plaster on walls are mostly avoided to resist noise from nearby expressway.
It's quite far from city area which makes it more preferable to study. Classes are made with awesome sitting arrangement but teaching boards are quite outdated.
Boys faces problems to get hostel room, so they have to rely on private hostels on Sanchi Street or behind Rean School.

The architecture and landscaping is world class. I probably never fainted Here but had a breakdown in the exam centre due to bad ventilation.
I needed a course completion certificate and within 2 hours they gave Me for helping My on boarding.
During Corona they asked for fees in advance but later relented from pressure of Students/ grievance Commission thus reverted the date to old and correct one of September.
The guards are unprofessional in their behaviour and partake in name-calling and hazing being synonymous with bullying. And You’d find a fight break out in the by-lane on an odd day or two, so stay put.
The registrars are mostly short-fused, with the mostly older ones abusing the Younger registrar workers. I observed this in 2018 and 2023. In 2022 when there were no students in January they were very calm and composed. So maybe most students coming Here are unruly too. We had a guy from Azamgarh who used to flail his drafter like a machine gun scaring the bus driver.
I too once grabbed a guy by the neck when I was bullied too much.
There are no fests and little participation of external colleges and thus We don’t get to host guests too often.
Studies are a mixed bag. In some classes the teachers like Pankaj Aggarwal and Gp Capt Sir take thorough measures for the sake of students academics. Others are mostly a hit and a miss. Sadly these have departed the institution for seeking greener pastures.
Maybe out of 10 I could find 1 or 2 good seniors rest all were in a bubble of air-headed superiority.
End of the day We didn’t score better and hence had to study in this institution. I would not do My MTech Here as I was not a good student, plain and simple.

It have quite good infrastructure and good environment. Situated far from main city, this place is less polluted. Courses offered are B.tech, Mtech, MBA, MCA. Admission are taken on the basis of uptu ranking or 12 th percentage.

This was my centre to my exam. Best infrastructure. Clean place. Situated on NH24 (before dasna and after Columbia asia hospital) . To reach there from delhi you must not take Nh24 directly. Rather go from noida and then join onto Nh24 as the traffic problem is extremely high.
Overall college amenities are good.
