I joined the Albany Beck Software Engineering pioneer programme in January this year after having no background in technology but wanting a change in career and a chance to get into the tech industry.

After completing their training programme and with their support I was able to land my first role as a Junior Developer for one of their clients and I couldn't be happier.

The 10 weeks training provided by Kishore and Faiza was fantastic and they provided us with lots of knowledge and taught us industry standards. They are also always available for any help, questions and extra training information needed after completing the training which is amazing.

The Albany Beck team have been great. The whole team has been extremely friendly and welcoming.
The Engagement manager Kate Murray is always there to help with any questions and problems I had during and after the training and the two Account managers Aakash Shah and Issabella Anderson-Pass have been brilliant. Thanks to them they provided opportunities to meet with clients on a regular basis and have interviews for roles with some of them. They were able to provide lots of help with preparing for the interviews and lots of support after landing my first role.

Overall my experience with Albany Beck has been amazing and I would highly recommend anyone looking for their first role in the tech industry or a career change into tech to apply to their Pioneer programme!

Decent recruitment services. The prospectus for the Pioneer Programme really got me interested as it was also offered in my university job fair events. As a recent graduate looking for an entry point in the work industry it seemed a viable solution for individuals with no or little work experience because of training and industrial exposure provided. Unfortunately this time there may not have been any job offer but it was overall a great experience and interview to attend.

They do not teach you any Machine Learning and many other major important data science topics. There is only one teacher for 25 students and that is not enough. Most of the time is wasted during the "training" because the teacher goes off on tangents for hours and spends his time using paint to show extremely simple concepts. Towards the end almost all of the was self-learning, where they don't even teach you anymore: what is the point of this training course if we are meant to do self teaching for so much of the time. The structure of the course is very badly organized. 2500 pounds for this training ?! What a joke.

They have not found any data science opportunities for any of us and bring along just about any other irrelevant "data" opportunity they find (im guessing because nobody cares about Albany Beck).

Not to mention the communication is awful and it takes ages for some of the personnel of the company to get back to you.

This place feels like a scam, they lie a lot about the course and the opportunities they will find you and even claim there has never been anyone who did not get a job but just reading some of the previous review you can see this is completely false. Please try to find literally any other opportunity you can and save yourself.
