Most corrupted place I've ever worked in my life. I've been working there for almost 2 y and I know what I'm talking about. Contracts are given for relatives, friendship and sycophants. Rarely who really deserves it gets one. You're being told only lies at the beginning and you never get what has been said. If you're not happy they tell you to get in touch with the agency. You get in touch with the agency, they can't do anything as is ASN policy...and you're always without answers to your problem. You're told to do the job by the spec but then your leading hand rushes you to do it faster and to forget the spec. Same leading hand protecting certain people but always picking on the ones who do most of the work. I'm actually amazed I managed to work in a place that contains so much hate and racism. Absolutely disgusted!

Working here is good for short term, but I don't advice doing it long term, your brain will stagnate doing the same thing for 3-4 days, 10-11 hours a week.

You'll be under an agency, so beware, they can easily get rid of you if they don't need you. If you consider this work as your main source of livelihood, it will put you on uncertainty as they only allow you to work for 2 years unless you got a fix term(18 months), and to warn you again, if they don't need you, they'll get rid of you, WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.

I had applied to this role on September 2022. Then I had to take 2 tests, one of them in November 2022 and another in January 2023. However, they had not gotten back to me until April 2023 and they had told me to have an interview in April. However, I then received a call saying that the interviewer in the interview was not supposed to have an interview with me and that I should do another interview. I then went to the other interview but they changed my role as an Assembly Technician and I was surprised but was fine with it regardless. I then received a call saying that my role got switched back to the Electronics Assembler which had meant that my time had been wasted preparing for my last interview.

They had informed on that day that I had passed all of my interviews and will start my work on June 2023. So I had started my work on June but to my shock the job I was doing had nothing to do with building PCBs and soldering components. The role was more to do with fiddling with fiber optics. I was told that the first 3 weeks will be training before doing the actual work. I was completely new to the work so it will take me quite a while to get used to the work. Furthermore, one of the trainers was quite disrespectful to me. However, after 2 weeks (last week of my training) I had been told on the phone that I was not working up to standard and was therefore fired without any warning. Basically this company had wasted almost 5-6 months of my time. It is very difficult for me to take seriously for a company who cannot hold an interview properly. They had been a complete waste of time.

Best place I have ever worked for. Very flexible especially since Covid in the working hours, very exciting projects which allow you to get proud of what ASN does.

Shame the river end of the site was sold off, it used to have a gate onto the Thames path that you could used to discreetly get back on site after a too long pub lunch break on Fridays (circa 1990-2004). Is drinking at lunch still a thing? I’d be sacked on the spot at my new employer - the animals.
