I had AHS install a replacement boiler in my home in 2017 and have had safety checks and routine maintenance annually since. I have always had a good relationship with the engineers and admin staff, with no issues with the standard of work. Last week while I was screwing down some loose floorboards on the first floor of our home I managed to drive two screws into the the 3/4 inch copper pipes feeding radiators on that floor and was rewarded with a flood of water! Because of the positive relationship with AHS developed over the years I called them first and they had an engineer with me within a little over half an hour. I understand that considerable scheduling was required of staff, both in office and on the road to get an appropriate engineer to me in such a short time. Sections of Imperial copper pipe had to be cut out and replaced with the metric equivalent. Due to the volume of water in the system it took awhile to drain down and dry the pipes to allow soldering. A second engineer was eventually called in to expedite the repair.
At all times the engineering staff were professional and considerate of being in someones home at an uncomfortable time. They kept me in the loop on engineering issues and thoroughly tested the system, having to re-solder the pipes a few times to fix some residual leaks caused by water in the system cooling the solder. It should be said that the engineer explained he could have used a compression fitting in this situation but this was not the solution he recommended and I agreed.
I will not use the names of the engineers on this job (one still working his apprenticeship) as I do not have their permission to do so but I believe they shared their professional standards with all the AHS engineers I have met.

Absolutely fantastic service. Both engineers who turned up to replace our boiler were very professional, polite, clean and tidy in everything they did.

Within a day they had the boiler replaced and heating and hot water back on (during the cold spell of Dec 22) and then returned the next day to clean the filters and drain and refill the system. They then did a full test before a final clean of all areas they had visited.

Everything was explained to us clearly. A faultless approach to what they did. I cannot recommend them highly enough. And they were extremely competitive price wise too. They will be our go to boiler and heating people from now on.

We have been using AHS since 2006. They are highly professional very responsive to a problem. We had three engineers fitting our new boiler. All were very polite. Really nice guys. The girls in the office are always cheerful and responsive. We have no reservations in recommending this company. Robbie in particular is a star.

AHS installed a new boiler for us, replacing an old one, in our loft!! At the same time they flushed our CH system and removed iron deposits. The whole process of removing the old boiler and installing the new one took just one day, though being in the loft it took longer than expected and it had to be commissioned the next day. AHS provide heaters for us to use over night (it was February) and the commissioning was completed the following morning. Excellent service, and I would highly recommend.

Very pleased with the install of our Viessman 200T boiler. AHS made the process very informative and easy. The communications were excellent. The fitting team were polite, tidy and efficient. It was supplied and fitted in great timing and has worked really well since. The app works great and makes use so easy. Looking forward to the cost savings now

I have used Alexandra Heating for several years now to carry out boiler servicing, repairs and for Landlords gas safety certification.
Without exception they have proved to be reliable, efficient, friendly and good value for money.
Any problems with the bowlers have been dealt with swiftly and at reasonable cost.
The service engineers themselves have been knowledgeable, polite and friendly and have always left the site in a clean and tidy condition.
I have no hesitation in recommending them at all.

We had a major leak at the weekend, from the heating system that ran through two floors and through the dining room ceiling.
AHS were quick to respond, finding the source of the leak and isolated the running water, thankfully still leaving us with water. The engineers returned on the Monday with the correct fittings and repaired the leak, causing minimal damage.

I would recommend using AHS without a shadow of doubt, both engineers that attended my property were polite and knowledgeable and any worries I had were addressed.

AHS were asked to install a new vented hot water cylinder (running off my very old solid fuel Aga) as the old cylinder had fractured. 2 engineers arrived and I was advised that I could do much better with a pressurised cylinder which would be heated on Economy 7 overnight...and to disconnect the water from the Aga.
I am delighted to say that it has worked beautifully. My water is heated for 2 hours overnight, the hot water flows at a much greater rate, particularly on the 2nd floor in the loft which used to take hours to fill a bath and there are no noisy shower pumps, no cold water /header tanks and no sound of running water at all. Also with the old Aga isolated by not heating the water, it will be much easier to install a new one later on.
Thank you AHS, I am absolutely delighted and cannot praise you enough.
