I took my car to this shop based on a recommendation from a friend and I am glad I did. The people were friendly, they communicated everything with me as they worked on my vehicle, they prioritized what needed to be done on my car, and they didn’t push me into something I didn’t need. They went well above and beyond the original work order and they made sure I left with my car feeling confident they took care of all my issues and then some. Moving forward this is the only place I will take my cars to for repair or even a simple oil change.

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 with 79,000 miles in very good condition overall. One day the truck went into limp mode. I took the truck to a couple of other local mechanics, they took the diagnosis fee and told me it couldn't be fixed. The Dealership said it would be at the earliest the end of September before they could look at it. I did one more Google search . This time Alternative Auto came up. I called and Dale said that he could look at it. And quickly gave me a diagnosis and firm price for repairs. Fixed it quicker than the time frame given. And this truck is running like new again. At the price given. I will never use another mechanic besides Alternative Auto again. Best professional service I have ever seen.

I was super stressed out couldn’t get my vehicle fixed anywhere but when I talked to Dale on the phone, he said he could help me. I was a little doubt for it first, but he took my vehicle. Talk to me step-by-step reassured me they would get fixed, even though I was panicking, and in the end, Dale really came through for me. Got my vehicle fixed way less than I thought it would cost. I’m really happy with their shop anytime any my vehicles or anybody I know has a problem. I will recommend them.

I am happy to have found this place. My wife and I both have older vehicles especially her and have had some back luck in the past with getting our cars repaired. Alternative Auto Care is a local family owned shop with great service and fair prices! I had a considerable amount of work that needed to be done on my 4Runner before taking it on a road trip for the 4th of July. They quickly found out everything that needed to be done and quoted me a fair good price and turned it around in time before a left for the holiday. It ran great and they made my vehicle like new again both safe and reliable for myself and family. I would recommend this place and plan to go back for future business needs!

The absolute worst auto shop I have ever had to deal with in my whole life? I never knew it was possible for a business to haggle you like this.
I brought my car in for a flat tire, took them 4 days to get back to me ( respectfully understand the 2 days as they’re closed on weekends) by Monday evening they send a invoice for $1400 for repairs to be done.
I denied. I don’t have the funds to pay for everything and the things listed were not a necessity.
Dale ends up hounding me to get more done, and speaking over me, not letting me talk, then abruptly ends the conversation because they were closing.
The next day he ends up saying “have you reconsider getting 4 tires. I said no.
He puts me on a hold and gets back on saying for 2 tires it would be $900.
Now how is that, if for 9 work orders and 4 tires it was $1400, then for 2 tires $900?

Took my car to discount tire across the street, a third of that, $190 max.
They lack customer service, and are just crooks.
Watch them try to reply to this with a long thought out reply as they do everyone else.
