My plumber fitted Aquabion last year and switched my old water softener off as it was getting too old. Overnight I started to get limescale marks on the shower, I needed more shampoo and shower gel and it left scum behind. After a few weeks I got fed up and switched my softener back on. Would not recommend this.

Like many others, I have been looking for a solution to the film of limescale that builds up, as we live in a hard water area.
Having installed an S15 -all I can say is that it works. The shower cubicle looks clean without masses of limescale remover, as do all the taps. The effect was noticeable within the week.No change in the water taste, but I still filter the water before boiling a kettle. Happy to recommend Aquabion as an alternative to traditional water softeners -it doesnt claim to water soften but condition the water -which it does

Had the S15 fitted this week and noticed the difference straight away. I did a blind test between bottled water and the tap and my wife could not tell the difference! I have sensitive skin and can tell the difference and on the hair also. Very impressed so far!!

I was a bit unsure about this system, I felt like it was a little bit too good to be true if I am honest. One week in and I am shocked to say the least with the difference. I would normally have to descale the kettle weekly and fresh water would need to be applied for each use and the limescale pieces flushed out.

I cleaned the kettle like new the day it was installed and it's still in pristine condition. The shower is so much easier to clean, the dishes come out of the dishwasher cleaner. It's probably the best purchase I have made for the house.

We live in a hard water area in London and residue/stones on showers and taps was a constantly visible. We decided for Aquabion and the reviews seemed good. Fitting was done by plumber and took half a day. Instead of replacing our normal filter every year for a cost of £100 pa we decided on this 7 year solution. The results were evident within the first week. The shower head stopped accumulating the small stones and the taps have no white lines! It seem worth to replace your conventional filter to Aquabion,

I had an S20 fitted on Saturday morning it was my Plummer that suggested it to me as originally I had a water softener that took up the whole cupboard. It is obviously to early to comment on the S20 but it is now fitted and working and there’s plenty of room in my cupboard ? I look forward to a lime scale free house.

Installed the S20 and it is compact and unobtrusive compared to its predecessor which took up a whole cupboard. Neatly installed and seems to be doing a great job in my new kitchen. Should last 7 years too before it needs renewing so all good.

This is recommended by someone who compared with other products which require running cost of salt. Aquabion is new technology which can help to improve our water quality, we installed S20 for our household and it is good, I would recommend to everyone.
