After getting many quotes for Solar PV panels with battery storage from far and wide, I found ARC Technical by chance. As they were local to me I contacted Jonathan, who came out to our home, measured up and designed a system tailored to our needs.
Once we agreed the price within a couple of weeks Jonathan, Oliver and Jono were on our roof installing our 16 panel array with battery as per photos. It only took them a couple of days and they left it all working and tidied up. We had a teach in on how to operate everything.
I have to say the installation and equipment used has the look and feel of high end quality.
I thoroughly recommend ARC Technical to everyone.
P.s. it’s been up and running a few weeks now and performing beyond our expectations we haven’t bought any electricity from the grid, even on dull days only pesky standing charges.

Amazing tailored service from a family ran business. I originally had a very competitive quote from Octopus Energy and a friend recommended I try someone local to be a comparative benchmark. I was put in touch with Arc Technical when I enquired through a Solar comparison site and was pleasantly surprised. I was upfront with my current quote.

Jonathan, the company director was extremely knowledgable and was reassuring with his background and experience. So much so, that he easily spotted that floor in my original Octopus quote, the inverter wasn’t beefy enough to handle more than a kettle on! Something that larger companies don’t always consider with a one size fits all installation.

Jonathan was able to beef up my inverter, and still came in under Octopus’s quote. He spent all the time I need explaining options and we ended up only spending a fraction more but went from 12 panels to an 18 panel system with chunky 9.5kw battery and 5kw inverter.

You can be rest assured you are in safe hands, as Jonathan inspects other installations when he isn’t installing with his family ensuring all regulations and certifications are complied with.

Jonathan, his son Ollie are professional, efficient and know their onions. The contracting scaffolders they use were polite, efficient and tidy.

I would have no doubts about recommending Arc Technical for anyone who wants a tailored and bespoke system meeting your needs and budget.

It has been a pleasure to deal with Arc Technical. From the initial enquiry it was clear that Jonathan had a knowledge of the equipment and an attention to detail that would ensure that I would get the system that I wanted and it would be installed and commissioned to my satisfaction. Importantly, Jonathan was very flexible in working around my other building work and also to suit my schedule.
My battery system was installed and configured to work in harmony with my EV charger making use of the cheap night time rates. I will not hesitate to go back to them when I look to add solar PV later on in my project.
