I came here to the Ardgowan Distillery during the Open Day in June 2025. It was a fabulous day out, with music from different bands such as The Laurettes. There was delicious food and drinks, which was neatly priced. There were whisky tastings, which was quite interesting. There were small tours in the distillery, and there will be regular tours when the distillery is fully up and running. The facilities here were very good, with free water fountains, which was needed for this hot sunny day. Transport was also provided, with coaches taking people to and from the area. I had a great time, and would want to do it all again. I wish all the best for the Ardgowan Distillery!

Today we went to the Ardgowan Distillery and was completely blown away. I don’t drink whiskey but my hubby and son wanted to go. I have to say I enjoyed it so much. Barbara has an amazing infectious passion for what she does and her knowledge was outstanding. She shared the history, the area and whiskey with so much love. Do yourself a favour and make sure you book a tour and pay a visit, you will not regret it. Thanks so much Barbara, Richard and Scott, very memorable experience.

Great tour of a really amazing distillery! Barbara heard about my recent (that morning) engagement and performed an impromptu knot tying ceremony for us. It was truly magical and made our day so special!

We came here with a large group for a tour and it was amazing. The tour was educational and very enjoyable. They have put a lot of effort into renewable energy and the buildings are quite impressive - plus the whiskey is delicious! We will be back, thank you for having our group!

My group of fellow travelers went to this new distillery recently. Great tour. Our group was large enough we split into two tours. Both guides were outstanding. We tasted several different whiskies which were great. Highly recommend stopping in, taking the tour, and buying a bottle or two to take with you.
